It's just so bizarre that something in the emulator only affects those games that are released as Imports.

Hard to complain at that.

Glad that was free as part of PS+ and I didn't actually pay for it.

That would explain why Arc the Lad was so slow when I played it, though.

That's exactly the sort of decisive action and integrity I've come to expect.

The company publishing them was like "We have no idea, don't blame us." Sony just shrugged their shoulders, took out the offending part of the description and just moved on.

So when people found out, they were pissy.

Before this was discovered, they were being advertised as 60Hz and thus requiring a compatible TV, right?

What possible reason could there be for that?

"Import" PS Classics on EU PSN bizarrely run in 50Hz, but if you buy from the US store, it runs in 60Hz.

I saw a video comparing 50 to 60 and it was obnoxious how much slower 50 was in comparison. Everything was slower. But I doubt it would be that noticeable overall. Unless of course you were exposed to the 60Hz version.

Maybe one day for kicks, I should set DMC3 to 50Hz mode.

It's not like I've ever been given an opportunity to realise the difference personally.

Speaking of 576, once that disappears from television, I guess PAL will finally be dead.

I sure would like to watch 576i television on one of those.

GOTS TO HAVE THE LATEST HOT TECH, MAN

Early adopters of such technology are basically big idiots or have lots of disposable income. It always gets much much cheaper, more efficient and less prone to failure only a few years down the line.
