Full version, but according to Cathryn it might very well be ripped from the trailer with the voices dulled down.

Anyway, here's your heap of moonspeak music. :aldo:

Edit:

Bandwidth was eaten up, so here's an alternative link thanks to Roerbakei: http://www.mediafire.com/?mz2gxzazjmz

I'm fairly sure It's just pops in the audio now.
The link pretty much confirms that it's a rip anywaysfasfda

FLAC BBE. The Looseless recording is far superior, so it'll be good to listen to it once that appears.

I know of FLAC (not so much as difference just name) but what is the major difference between FLAC and MP3? Is it just how it compresses data or how it plays it in certain media players?

MP3 is Lossy data, so say when you rip it from the CD you loose some of the audio data, it can cause audio differece.
But what you hear quality wise, I can guarantee everybody would say they sound the same, but data wise there will always be a loss in quality.

And the FLAC, is basically a complete exact audio copy from the CD meaning no quality is lost in the audio and data.
Plus Lossless data is more convenient to convert, when you convert MP3's, you tend to loose more data as the process goes along, making the quality even worse.
I hated when I used to convert MP3 data and the quality just basically went downhill. ;;

I rip most of my disc's to FLAC then convert over to MP3 or WMV to know I'm getting the best quality out of my tracks.
That or I just leave them as FLAC and go from there.

Hmmm after giving it a proper listen it does sound quite good, instruments, vocals, and all that.

Ignore my initial reaction to the song pls :cathryn:

Sounds like FLAC could be pretty heavy in terms of size is that true? And if so I'm wondering if this too is one of the reasons the game will span over 3 discs for the 360 version...(on top of the cutscenes of course).

I know in making games, certain 2d engines hate mp3s due to their size and executing them (long long load times ; ;)

An average song can span between 5-100mb, as they are compressed at a fairly low rate. It's pretty standard in most CD's.
Most are .cda files so the compression is as low as possible to get the best results.
The FLAC is just an exact conversion of the .cda audio extensions.

And as for the data spanning over so many CD's, the audio will of course be lossless, but compression wise I can't be so certain, it depends how much they limit themselves to audio within the DVD, so I wouldn't be surprised if they compressed them more than usual in order to free space for other priorities. Yet I can guarantee the quality and sound of the audio will always be the same.

But quality wise, you can mess around with and convert FLAC's as much as you want.
I know you can convert from FLAC to WMV as many times as you want and the quality will always be exactly the same.
But when you shift to MP3, the data is of course being turned lossy and some data will be lost, and will continue to go as you convert back and forth.

I didn't like it when she sung it live, but I liked it when I heard it in the trailer. Her lazy eye in the live performance annoyed me the most.

Remember when this song was first shown and almost everyone disliked it? Now everyone seems to like it.

Quite a few people seem to be extremely impressionable on this forum. :wtf: Like when everyone was slagging off the voices and you posted in that thread saying you thought some were good and like 5 people who were previously moaning went "OH YEAH, THEY ARE QUITE GOOD ACTUALLY ;D"

I still don't like it. I mean, the vocals are alright, I guess; but that's about it. Very uninspiring, IMO.

I'll never forgive you.

Personally, I still want to stab the chick in the face, but I'm able to block out her voice. I just don't like it. ;;

Maybe the single will have an instrumental version for me to indulge in.

I really like it, especially the end where it goes all dramatic.

The only thing that bothers me is that she's a pretty average singer, if that, and is completely unknown. They could get anyone they wanted, why not get really good singers? They should get Ayaka again.

I use Apple Lossless. Basically like FLAC mixed with variable bitrate. :wtf:

Sounds fucking fantastic.

Size isn't too bad either; I have ripped 364 songs so far using it, which is 23.4 hours, and its 9.62 Gb. Takes p a lot of room, but it sounds much better, and I just put my music library on an external anyway. :wtf:

I think the fact that I've been listening to so much less-popular J-Pop has ruined any chance I would have of liking this song. I didn't mind it before, but now I just don't like it at all. :wtf:

It's too generic.

Maybe the single will have an instrumental version for me to indulge in.

The chances of an instrumental being included are higher than the chance that it won't be. Especially considering that it's a Japanese single.

Though you probably knew that already.

Hi, I've been a silent reader of this forum for quite sometime. I love this theme song, but prefer the shorter version in trailer. The longer version just messed it up near the middle part with constant tune twists. Frankly I think the trailer's shorter version should have been the definitive version, at least its so much better than FFX and FFXII's theme, in certain ways.

So here's the download link for the shorter version(trailer version) that I remixed. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
http://rapidshare.com/files/301740309/BecauseYou_reHere320_remix_.mp3

Also here's the full version on rapidshare, in case anyone wants it.
http://rapidshare.com/files/301755101/Sugawara_Sayuri_-_kimi_ga_iru_kara.mp3

Thanks for downloading and happy listening =D

p/s" Both are MP3 320Kbps, so before you put into your PMP, better re-encode it down/ I preserve the 320Kbps for quality reasons.

Hey Hextan,

I'm not saying its terribly bad. I have the FFXII OST LE, and I love it. I just thought Kiss Me Goodbye is somehow lacking one final punch, the mojo, that certain part of the song that really kills it. Personally I like Kiss Me Goodbye's ending part.

Hope I don't get flame big time for this :)

This is so generic J-POP, but i can live with it.. cos I like J-POP, although it does seem a little ordinary..

sugawara sugari's voice isn't very spectacular, its good but not outstanding. She also sounds like shes singing too soft all time...

the lyrics are nice.. and it could be a sleeper... but it hasn't gotten to me yet. but thats what you get from the first main lineage FF whose theme song isn't done by Nobuo Uematsu. I don't think his song composing talents are up to par yet.

Sadly for me, the best part of the song at the moment is the intrumentation (the violins) more than the voice.

gotta love the Engrish tho... dear my friend.

edit: on 3rd listen, the flowiness of the 2nd verse is quite catchy.. builds emotional momentum.. i like that.. the song kinda comes alive from there..
