Amazon updated their ff13 product page with what appears to be the final cover.

Well this is not really news, since its just the cover everyone was expecting...just pointing it out after the recent confusion about the custom made cover.

Sounds decent enough to me. No need for over complex Cover Art, though it would be more appealing.

Its 100% the cover for Europe, we alway have this white + Logo. Don´t know about the other Covers.
I knew from the day when FF13 was announced that we would get this cover :aldo:

I really doubt it. The Japanese FF covers all look like that. And it has the new PS3 logo. This is definitely the final cover for Japan and probably Europe too.

Well, I would expect NA to get some flashy cover because it is that much of a big deal to get sales over here.

He used be. He posted a couple of articles and was really up himself. He got all high and mighty thinking he basically powered the site and we'd all be lost without him. He's an idiot.

Square Enix seems to have the right idea with the box art as it seems all the people in NA want a busier boxart and the people in the EU, including myself, like the more sutle logo as boxart.

Lightning can't pull off Amazonian warrior woman. Especially not with Fang already rocking the look.

cool, but hardly news. Numerical FF covers have always been this way in japan since like FF VI.
I like good box art as much as the next guy, but gotta say, I certainly would prefer this uniformed look with all my FF's in a collection. looks nice.

Should've had that comment when the whole series took off in the first place.

Frankly though, in my opinion. It's just too simple. I want something like that would go on movie posters. Like you'd see a war going on and Lightning and gang would pose as if they would fend off the attack.

And yeah, I agree that XII didn't really have a good cover. Though, seeing as it had like Star Wars-esque elements. It didn't come as a surprise.

It should be easy for people to spot. For people who have no prior knowledge of Final Fantasy at all, I don't think this would attract them.

On the other hand, a flashy cover speaks for itself! I should mention they are releasing the game on more than one console in NA which means it does matter.

It should be easy for people to spot. For people who have no prior knowledge of Final Fantasy at all, I don't think this would attract them.Really? o.O Because the first game I picked for my PS2 was FFX... and I didn't even knew of FF back then.

I think the box being this simple would catch people's attention.

Really, the boxes' design simply gives an exquisite feeling.

AND it looks REAL neat on your shelf. =D

It looks neat and all, but I'm mainly refering to people who are caught by the artwork.

FFX had more than one cover and it was common to see the Box Art with Tidus on it. Just saying some people find it very appealing to have a 'busy' Box Art cover since there would be a lot to scrutinize.

I'm picking up Final Fantasy XIII either way!
