Each Agito character is based on an FF character?

Does anyone remember Nomura saying something like each character in FF Agito XIII is based on a previous FF character?

Yeah, I can see the job system in the characters more than previous personas. There seems to be a ranger, bard, monk, gambler, samuari, dragoon. I'm finding it hard to see characters other than the cloud you mentioned. Hmmm maybe the women on the right with the scythe could be a human version of Freya from FFIX? Women with the 'Ivyblade' could be a bit like Paine? I dunno ^_^

There is one that reminds me of Paine, one that looks like Yuna, a selphie like one, along with squall, rinoa, and quistis. The one front right makes me think of firion..

Then villeta(from code geass), luxord, Roy(with short hair and no sword, from Fire Emblem), and Snow?

They do have similarities to some... and Nomura designed them, so there's bound to be similarities.


If the card kid wasn't the protagonist, somehow, a part of me is telling me, a silly idea, we (the player/or create your own?) get to be the 13th student.. but that's unlikely. lol XD
