Cool Astraia; I noticed too! Also, if you look at the render for Odin, you also see a similar inscription! (See attached; I don't know how to put the image in the post, hehe...) You can see on his swords "ODIN" and on his 'shield'/front legs the word "ODIN" too! (Circled in red) But high-res as the photo is, we still can't see the bunch of text squared in blue clearly!

This reminds me of FFX (and it's no surprise since they're the same development team), where they had similar "hieroglyphics" for the alphabet! Someone needs to create a table or font of the different letters in FFXIII when it's out! =D

Side Note: It's interesting how it's really true that Nomura added the red highlights to Fang's hair only at the last minute. I'd always been wondering why in the interview he stated that he had made the changes, but I couldn't really see much of the red highlights in her screens and even her render in Famitsu. Guess that's because all those were made before the red highlights were added; now in her official render on the updated site you can really see the red, which I think looks gorgeous!

Also, for those wondering about the name on Lightning's gunblade, I have seen it a while back. It says "Lightning" in those cool/strange-lookin' characters.

Awesome theory S-r-ex! Yes, it could very well be a 'V' covered, and it makes perfect sense if the second word has to do with the whole Norse mythology! Right now it's VAL_YR_A, with the first space possibly being 'C' or 'K', and the second last space being 'J'?
