IP Banned

Apparently I've been IP banned from the forums, but my account itself hasn't been banned. I haven't done anything wrong as far as I can tell, so I have no idea why this has happened.
I've contacted three staff members about it so far to try and resolve it privately, but have received no response whatsoever.
I had to do this by accessing the site via proxy, so there may have been some confusion about my current IP address if someone has tried to resolve it, but having received no reply from anyone I can't tell whether or not this is the case.

So if someone can help me out here, either give me a reason for the IP ban, or fix it if it's a mistake, it would be very much appreciated.
And if you need to know my current actual IP address to figure out which one needs to be unbanned (if that's the case), let me know and I'll PM it to you.

Actually getting banned is pretty inconvenient when you like going on the website.
I've been banned many times before. This website seems more laid back than other

It's not a poor attempt at a joke, or anything like that. We have, in effect been banned from accessing the forums with no reason given as to why.
Accessing the forums through a proxy is a slow and annoying process that cuts half the functionality of the forums, and brings up many pop-up ads with every other mouse click.
I've tried explaining this fact to three individual staff members through PM, tried to contact said staff members via msn and gotten no response from any of them, posted this thread about it and still had no help whatsoever in finding out why this has happened and what can be done about it.
