actually i think youre right. serah is going to die; thus, beginning a chain reaction: lightning will kill herself because she couldn't protect her sister and snow will kill himself, too. sazh will shoot vanille like she taunted him to. hope, hm...hope will get raped by his father and end up committing suicide as well.

The group decide it's time to stop off at the local inn for the night. All huddled round a fire debating how to continue their adventure. The mood is sour, chilling even, Snow decides it's best to break the ice with another one of his black jokes. These black jokes sure have been funny lately Snow, Snow you sure are a comedian. He wonders what life would have been like if he had become a comedian instead while the group roll over laughing. All but one, who reaches for his trusty six-shot pistol. Snow tries to calm the situation by telling him "is all good". Game over, sweet dreams blonde prince. The rest of the group follow in quick succession.

I say that Lightning will die at the end of the game. I have my reasons as to why I think so, but really I don't want her character to perish. :'(

Serah is somehow tied in to the Final Boss.

I'm CALLING it now: Ozzie bitch joins our party and wields a spear as a dragoon. Sazh forgives Vanille and Hope forgives Snow by game's end. Lightning makes up with Snow. They kill Jihl and all Fal'Cies.

I am calling it now: there will be a huge twist surrounding the fal'Cie. It will turn out that the crystals they are powered by are made of humans and the focuses they hand out are intended to create further bloodshed -- so more humans to turn into crystals.

I guess it's my turn to call it now;

Sazh finds out that Dahj isn't his son, Snow and Lightning get married and Lightning gets pregnant, setting the stage up for FF13-2, and Jihl's attack is the super-mega-ultra whip that rips away battle gear.

...And Hope becomes the most powerful L'Cie in history and saves the day at the end in a very inspirational and emotional cutscene. :V

Well, his name is Hope Estheim. So perhaps that is symbolic, as Hope represents some kind of "hope" (pun unavoidable) for the future.

The twist is he goes SSJ6 and fusions with Lightning to become Whytning Stryku.

lol, seems like fun, so I'll call what I think/know will happen:

-Snow and Hope are gonna have a gay/make-up/friendship moment
-The Fal'Cie are trying to kill eacthother
-The Fal'cie of cocoon might be getting the others at Pulse pissed at him!
-One summon is going to turn into a jet board or a glider
-A dumb-ass I'cie is going to try to be cool, but then get turned into a crystal
-heheh, Lightning wil slice Sazh's Affro off by "accident"
-Somebody will fall off their summon the first time they use it!
-Make sense of a twenty two year old man marrying a fifteen year old
-A Fal'cie will die
-Hope is actually the strongest out of all of them. I mean, come on, the kid went freaking SUPER SAIYAN 200000000000000!!!

-And lightning will make somebody into her b-tch...oh, wait, she already did to Snow...

Myself, the only person i think will die is snow. His death would cause the most emotional impact. he could become a 'cie corpse from "focus" ing too much on serahs focus. I dont think serah will die, in fact i believe that Bahamut will be her summon.

Deer God that would be awesome. But in the TGS trailer, it looks like they found Sera right before meeting the Fal'cie for the first time. If Sera can pass her focuss, along with Bahamut onto someone-else, then that'd be cool to! I still like that Idea though!

People are so expectant of another death in the FF series that its almost become blase. Try telling a good story instead. Having said that, how many more ways are left to kill off a character in FF? We had courageous sacrifice in FFIV, murder in FFVII, comic relief in FFX, and political expediency FFXII. What other kind of death can they cover? Romantic death? Boo.

I know that bahamut will (hopefully) be a playable summon, so... it is either..... wait what about hopes summon?

Anyways i still dont think we know the whole story
Id like for them to reveal the true villain in the next trailer

the game's coming out on Dec. 27 this year for those in Japan, so I don't think they need to make any more trailers. lol, it'd be kind of weird if they showed the main bad-guy in a trailer to me for some reason. I guess we'll see who it is if we look at the recorded japanese gameplay/walkthrough.

Snow will be carrying frozen/crystal Serah, and will trip on a banana, and fall and break Serah in pieces.
Then the reamaining pieces of Serah, will be used for making necklaces and earings, ah c'mon :D where do you think that piercing of Lightning came from?

I'm calling it now: either Yaag or Jihl (or perhaps both?) is the final boss of the game. Final bosses have a tendency to be revealed through trailers and previews.

Example: XII - Vayne's consul speech in Rabanstre was shown in the Japanese language trailer that comes with the demo disc that came with Dragon Quest. First time I saw him, I sort of knew he was going to be a recurring villian. That he's the final boss, I wasn't surprised when I actually played the game.

Example: VII - We'd seen pictures of Sephiroth.

VIII, IX, and X don't count because in those games you dont' see the final boss until the end of the game. Necron came out of nowhere, Yu Yevon was mentioned but wasn't shown until the end, I think it was supposed to be a WTF moment, as in WTF this little squid dude?

Ultimecia was a sorceress from the future, and you had to start Time Kompression in order to get to her, so they couldn't really show her, but they showed plenty of Edea.

It all depends whether this game will pull a Vayne / Sephiroth on you, or a out-of-nowhere surprise final boss on you, which IMHO is lame. I chased Kuja around four continents and a world to fight some archangel dude?????????

I hope the final boss ain't some Fal'Cie God, though I wouldn't doubt it, because since XenoGears we've been trying to kill God in video games.

And we haven't seen Cid yet. What's up with that?

They have mentioned that Yaag was meant to be only a rival, but Jihl could do something. Her role may not be chained down yet. heheh, Yaag looks like Virgil from devil may cry 3 a little bit!

LOL, I swear to God, if they go looking for cid to build an Airship for them and he just summons one out of the sky...I'm going to scream a WTF!? But a cool one I guess. Cid has his own army in the Final fantasy 13 for the psp, so maybe they stripped him off th...NAHH!

As far as I know, FF13 Cid is the leader of Sanctum, so he is more along the lines of FF12 Cid. I am hoping that this Cid will turn out to be female, but one can only dream. I am also hoping that we will see a picture of him or her before the game is released.

It would be a surprise if Cid ended up being a girl! It'd be cool to see, but then again, Final fantasy always keeps up with "tradition". Like getting walking, to riding a bike, then a car, then a boat, then flying an airship! I don't think there will be any more trailers, but in only two months, the game is going ot be coming out-in japan anyways. We might not get it till March...at the earliest that is.

Oh well, lol, I'm still waiting on Assassin's creed 2!

I loved how Cid was an evil bastard in XII, but he was goody two shoes the last eight games (introduced character trend of Cid starting in FF3, continued 'til XII, skip and don't count XI, though there probably is a Cid in XI, I'm only counting single player games).

As for the requisite multi-form trend since FF7, Cid should merge with a Fal'Cie to become Fal'Cid. Thereafter they should pull a Necron / Yu-Yevon moment and the giant God of all Fal'Cies comes down from the skies andddd..........wait for it..............yea, it's a motherfucking crystal. With Serah Farron trapped inside. <cue Lavos theme>

Now that you mention it Im sick of airships in FF's. And by that I mean the futuistic ones weve seen in 12,10 and soon to come 13. I hope we get one soon with a more classical style of transportation...
