I don't know if it's just me but is anyone else here a little pissed off at all the conflictung SE statments about versus info, and all the smug remarks from Nomura! I mean for Christ sake last year we had a shit load of info pouring out onto us about this danm game, and i must say after all that hype I'm a little P.Oed about the cold shoulder they've been giving us. Sure its fine to pull back on info for a little while but must they dangle their secret developments and changes in our faces like cats being tortured with balls of yarn? and then to top it off Nomura the head dumb ass of the operation can't even manage to get his story straight. First we're not getting anything from TGS then we are but only to a select few, and now they have new screens surfacing from god only knows when and I have to say I dont think I can handel this emotional rolercoaster anymore.:nag:

LOL! :lol::lol: It may not necessarily be Nomura calling the shots when it comes to releasing info. on the game. The producer may feel that the game hasn't reached a certain stage of development to be releasing anything solid as of yet. Or...maybe they decided to change a large component of the game (i.e- battle system, storyline, etc). Then again, that would cost SE a lot of money start over on such a large project. OOORRRR, you could be right; Nomura, the producer, or Yoichi Wada himself, are just pricks that get their kicks from screwing with us loyal fans. Who knows... :blink:

It's called marketing, and they've been doing it forever. Get over it.

It's because Nomura secretly comes onto these forums and gets off to our posts. He purposely witholds Versus info to make us feel depressed and hopeless- it's like Ecstasy for him.

But, like everyone else says (and because it makes me look smart by saying it :shifty:), it's marketing. They want to get us excited about the game so we'll buy it, and your post shows that it's working.

It's called smart marketing strategy.

It's the same thing they did with Birth by sleep, while 358/2 was being promoted, we didn't hear anything about BBS. SE wants to focus the sales and attention on their upcoming titles (such as FFXIII) If we were to get any information on Versus, then it's a pretty good chance that the majority of SE supporters would shift their focus on waiting for Versus, passing up XIII all together.


Believe me, when XIII releases, we'll be getting a lot more info on Versus. Till then, stfu ;D

I'm guessing they only showed early development gameplay because nobody is talking about the new design all the characters got, including Noctis.
