After seeing a video of it somewhere, methinks the Driving Mode input system is similar (but not exact same) to Zell's "Duel" limit break in FF8, if you played it. I couldn't find a picture, so I'll describe it. When Zell goes into his limit, people always said it was similar to Sabin, but more Tekken-ized. He was a monk like Snow, he punched shit.

While in limit mode, every few seconds a window will come up with button combinations that you have to press to execute his moves. You would have a limited window of time to execute his combinations, randomly ranging from 5 to 12 seconds (list of his techs and inputs below).

One trick I found out was to keep using Punch Rush and Booya over and over, since they appeared every time, and you could do the most damage over time just by repeating those two techs, especially if you were given the full 12 second or whatever allotment.

From watching the TGS video or whatever and screens, it looks to me to be a similar input system where you decide which move you want to execute, and then do the appropriate button combination. If you ask me, in this image the 10 represents some kind of Tactical Points or other system, and the numbers next to the moves represent cost. If something costs 5 and another costs 6, and 5+6 = 11, and you only have 10 points, you probably can't do them both. Perhaps you have to decide which moves you want to use based on the number of points you have at your disposal, and decide quickly. If you hit ALL, the CPU will probably choose for you, and it might not be the most efficient, or the ones that you wanted. And even if you choose all, you can't do both something that costs 5 and something that costs 6 if 10 points is the limiting factor. You could do 3, 5, and 2, because 3+5+2 = 10. Perhaps the six point one is really powerful. But if you do 6 point, you'll have to do 3 or 2, whereas if you did 3+5+2 you'd get three hits in. That's just my theory.

Interesting, maybe we'll be able to abuse to PR+booya equivalent of Shiva/Ifrit/Odin.
