I was re-watching the E309 trailer...

So im doing as i do every night for the past 3 months since i started to get back intrested in FFXIII.

Im watching this trailer and from what im seeing, it looks like in that trailer they progressed pretty far into the story, yet only five of the party members were there. If it was at least 10, 15 hours in(out of the 50) shouldn't you have more... If not that far in though, this game might make me do shit but play it even during my graduation ceremony.

Also what about those new characters, the girl and Sazh's son, would they be l'cie? Im guessing yes because whats the point of mentioning them if they arent, right?

Just some questions, bash, add, say screw it i guess.

Youre wondering why you never saw the new characters in the E3 trailer...well considering they had not yet been revealed (and still havent) Square made sure you dont see them. They could have been all over any of those scenes for all we know, purposely excluded

I watch the E3 trailer pretty much anytime I boot up my PS3, since I downloaded it from the PS Store. Looks amazing. :)

Also, who says 10 hours in (which is just speculation anyhow) you have to have all the characters? In FFVII, you don't get Cid for a damn long time.

I'm guessing you think they have progressed rather far in the trailer because of the scene where Snow says he's going to talk with the fal'cie when that huge door opens I'm guessing this because I was thinking the same thing when I saw that scene the first time and there were only the five of them and it seems important.

But when I watched it again I saw that Sazh doesn't have his mark on his chest yet in this scene so they can't be that far in the story. Other than that scene I don't see anything in the trailer that would suggest they are far in the story with only five characters. Or did you see something that I didn't as you clearly watch it more then I do.

A little in the beginning you hear Sazh and the last lines were by Hope.

I think sera must be a l'cie because they said in one of the trailers "Serah saved us" "Thats the power of a l'cie" or something like that.

If that is true, then Serah must be someone they are also looking for? I'd imagine that Sera either died or is captured by Cocoon..

I think Serah and Lightning know each other and she was on a mission to save her or something with Sazh and they bumped into Snow, Vanille, and Hope.
And for whatever reason they decided to help her.
