PS1 FFs on PSP ?

Why doesnt Square release the PS1 FFs on the PSP? I know without a doubt that it has the capabilities, but why go through a firmware, popstation junk, and risking breakin your PSP when they could just port it?

They'll eventually be downloadable from the Playstation store I expect.

Yep they will be downloadable. The order they're releasing games for PS store is in download size. Remember FFVII was 4 discs so there might be a bit of a wait :P

THREE DISCS!!

The disc only contain the FMV's/CG cutscenes so it isn't that bad.

I play FFVII on my psp through popstation...
(I have the original so nothing illegal to see here you shmugs!!)
To play you need DarkAlex's custom firmware
Just do exactly what the readme says and the chance of a brick is slim to none.
The only time you have a big chance of bricking is when customizing your XMB through flashing your flash0 but thats not neccesary

I'd love to but I dont have them anymore. I aint got that much disk space left and most of it I use for downloading anime and such.
If you have the original you can just rip it using some ripkit or just download it
