English oddity

Not that I mind but when Square Enix comes out with a new game and they show footage of it isn't it normally in Japanese. And then when they get close to the NA release date they start showing a little bit of English gameplay scenes. But with FFXIII they started with showing us English gameplay. I thought it was interesting and I wanted to see what other people thought. Could this mean that we might be playing FFXIII by the end of next year. Because that would be swell.^_^

Oh yea! i hadnt noticed that :blink:. Well I'm impressed by that. They could be making it all at the same time now that most PS3 games are going to be released at the same time in each region. Its really obvious but i've never thought of it, i wonder if the'll have japanese text at TGS. It would support the 80% complete thing aswell but alot of magazines say its coming out at the end of NEXT year which wouldnt be too great :/

I'm more confused as why the trailer is viewable on square's japanese E3 site but not even a mention of it on the english version of the site. They even have behind the scene staff pictures and such.

Thats right, they dont seem very organised. I read about a higher quality trailer being on the S-E site when it was announced but i couldnt find it. Took me a few hours of searching to realise it was only on the Japanese site. They have exactly the same layout so its not like it would have been hard to update both.

They've done some of the translation and are doing both jap and eng voice over now, but the 360 port will delay the game anyways so yea...
