._. Eh, I'll ignore the posts of the immature members.
Okay! Back on subject...
Edit: (Thank you Living Tear, have some Gil) Living Tear, no, I don't take that stuff harshly at all, I just think what they called me in this topic was very immature of them and need a lesson on respect. I just laugh at those types of posts.

Meh, FFX sucked.
Keep that linear interactive movie bullshit as far away from my PS2 as possible.

Another reason also why I didn't like it (which I should have stated my reasons for) because of the linear gameplay.

Linear? That might be true, but it fallowed a guy's journey throughout the world Spira.
The gameplay is a little predetermined... But hey.. I found it very challenging the first time I played 10. It waas my first Final Fantasy game, and I was pretty much dragged into the story, and not to mention the beautiful music.

I loved FFX, the acting was bad, but the game was really good. The music, battles, Aeons and bosses were so fun :>
I really liked X, its weird to see a lot of people hating the game lol

FFX is a YAY fer me.
I loved the story, because it was very straightforward. The interactions among the characters were also good. it has excellent gameplay, and i really liked the sidequests and minigames. What irritates me is Yuna's voice actor Hedy Burress, she sounded like a trying hard demure bitch. Oh, and the damn birds on the chocobo time trial thingy XD

Déjà vu...
You ARE annoying.
Yay for me. It was linear, but I still enjoyed it. Great story, pretty good VAs, was a decent challenge, great character development, and fun battle system.

Weird reason for thinking I'm annoying, since you've never talked to be before, eh, it's your own problem, not mine.
Oh, and the characters were aggravation IMHO. Tidus reminded me of some whiny three year old kid, while Lulu was...distracting...everything about Yuna's personality wasn't great at all either. ---I could ramble on and on but eh, I just don't like the game you can see.

Everyone are different from each other. Tidus went through a tough time, by adjusting himself to his new reality that he faced. Plus he had his past that troubled him.
You and Tidus hater should give him a break! He is after all a nice guy, and not mention, a video game character >.> Haha. How sad eh? Defending an VG character =)chrome://dictionarytip/skin/book.png

Yay for me, my favourite game on the PS2.
Tho the locations were very linear doing all the side stuff at the end of the game was great. You had to visit every single location to 100% it all so you really got to explore the whole world to it's fullest and it was fun finding all the secret areas.

FFX was yay/nay for me lol.
don't get me wrong awesome gameplay and story but i would've liked it they added a couple of more things but overall it was a really good way for FF to break in the PS2.

Oh, I bumped topics! Sorry, that's my fault. I noticed that the members were so active I didn't bother looking at the last post (they were all first page topics), heh, sorry. ^,^ This is also how I regularly post, and the conditions here are probably different, so I'm sorry. ^,^ Forgive me?
Edit: Also, maybe I should retry playing this game...

----Yes, please look at the last time anyone posted in any thread. It gets irritating seeing a whole lotta threads with almost unfamiliar titles bumped up. I'd forgive if it were two threads but.....
Yeah, xD.
Should I get back into this game? xP

Whether or not you like FF X or not, as well as any RPG, depends on if you care about the main characters, and if you don't find Tidus "annoying." For me, Tidus's frequent emo-ness was understandable; if I got swept away from home for all eternity in a land where everyone thought I was ignorant, stupid, and foreign, I would go insane.
This game happened to be the first FF game I ever played, and is what makes me an avid FF fan to this day. The instant Tidus got swept away from Zanarkand, I had this instant connection with him. I know this might sound incredibly retarded, but I felt sorry for him. Wherever he went, he was always out of place. That feeling is something anyone can empathize with.
Story was excellent, environment was interesting, and the characters were well fleshed-out. I had the hots for the entire female cast, which was a huge plus for me. Oh, and it was the first FF game to include voice acting, which added an unprecedented dimension of realism into the series.

A big Yay.
The gameplay was way better than PSX Final Fantasyies. Beautifull story, beautifull music, beautifull graphics ( even today i think ffx graphics are great). The game was very linear but that not a good or a bad thing.

It's aged horribly, has an atrociously bad storyline, the worst dialog known to man, and pornography-level acting. A baboon could have directed the cutscenes with more flair. It's gameplay was about as next gen as a 3D Pong. But its still got the FF magic. Yay.

It's actually one of my favorite final fantasies! It is really straight forward and linear, but it's very endearing and the gameplay was pretty solid, the summons were awesome, and the character development was really good [and the characters were all interesting at least]. I know a lot of people hate it for some reason *shrug* but I loved it.

Yay.
It's definitely my favorite. Followed by 8, then 7, 9, 6, 4, 5, 12.
Personally I didn't dislike a single thing about it. I think it's perfect.
Since it came out about 7 or 8 years ago I've played it at least 15 times.
I actually just started it again a few days ago.
And I still love it.

FFX is ok. not the best FF by any stretch of th's too linear ande imagination, but still a solid entry in the series. It's too linear and way too easy (the battle system gives you as much time as you could ever need to think and plan a strategy before you even make a move) but the story is quite engaging and for the most part the characters are pretty lovable.
I'd definitely end up playing it again if I didn't have a shit-ton of other games to play through first.

Nay for me if it were to compare w/ the other titles. It was too linear where you have to follow the map of your journey
