Yup, its true. After several weak rumours looks like playstation 3 ll have the so desesperatly waited price cut.
In most gaming stores in Portugal, Spain and France PS3 80GB is already costing 299 euros. No one here in portuguese gaming forums understand really why this so quickly price cut, must people beleive that its relationed to the arrive PS3 SLIM in a few months.
Today i went to a game store and there it was PS380GB with Mirror´sEdge and LBP only for 300 euros. Its true
I dont have many info about this because it hapened too fast but i think its good let you know. I beleive that ps3 ll have a price cut too in other countrys. Good news for everyone :)

Since Sony said that their production cost had lowered significantly, I expect a price drop coming soon.
If the PS3 slim is true, I'm sure it will be $300.

Loads of European retailers are reporting the same. Just because it isnt happening in the almighty US of A, it doesn't mean it isn't happening at all.

Apparently the internet is slower than usual today. I would think something so important would have been mentioned somewhere by now, but I guess ill wait until the end of the day. It does help that many of the people here are from Europe.
Thanks for the heads up Moklin! im hearing about it now. what was the original price? in euro's

Personally, if they made the Slim it would be a waste especially since they aren't the strongest right about now. I feel if they reach a mark somewhere as good as a PS2 then they can do the samething they did with PS2 Slim being released.

The slim PS3 will be much cheaper to produce, otherwise they wouldn't bother making one. :wtf:

the original price was 400 euros so it was a 100 euros price cut.
100 euros= 141 dolars/85 pounds
I dont understand why its hapening only in Europe untill now, usually Europe is the last one ehen specaking of gaming market.
