I think Xion meant to post a link to the existing End of Eternity thread (http://finalfantasy-xiii.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6821), which has had all of the trailers and most of the information released about the game so far posted

I see people beat me to it since I left this open... well, I'll at least make this post more useful by saying somebody should make a definitive thread (this or the other one) by compiling all the videos and stuff into the first post.

Anybody has any idea why they decided to change the name of the game for the western audience ?
I mean, it's not like the name of the game wasn't already in english. Nothing against the name itself, just that I don't like much the name changing.

Thinking back at this name changing thing, Fatal Frame series as it is know in the Americas, is known in Europe as Project Zero and in Japan as Rei. Seeing as Rei is the japanese word for zero ( 0 ) and not everybody is supposed to know it, that shouldn't be a problem, for exemple, the European version mantained teh zero in its name. But even thought the change in the name for the American market works, because the title makes sense, your "frame" (of the camera) can kill, so it is "Fatal".

But seeing titles like Trusty Bell which later became Eternal Sonata and End of Eternity that is now Resonance of Fate, they have no clear meaning whatsoever, at least in my humble perception.
I don't mean to expect a game where the title has meaning, I just question the reason for changing it for no apparent reason.

Delayed? Because that doesn't sound right.

I'm pretty sure a simultaneous release for US and EU was confirmed. I also thought it was confirmed to be in the first half of 2010 (Q2 I think, but not 100% sure).
