Noctis Vs Sephiroth

Ok guys, me and my friend are once again at a dispute of who would prevail in a fantasy battle. Our topic this time is Noctis vs Sephiroth, based on what we know from both characters, this is the evidence we have provided that explains our reasons for deciding who would beat who. Me (Stephen) is thinks Noctis, and my friend (Deontae) thinks Sephiroth would prevail. This is his reasoning;

Deontae
Sephiroth is a master swordsman, and his swordmanship is far above Noctis' skills, and also to help support this fact, he was deemed a number 1 soldier and considered a hero. He has super human characteristics, and a mutiltude of skills and abilites of every game he was shown in. Sephiroth can teleport like Noctis can (as seen in Kh2) and has devasting abilities such as Harvest Moon and Meteor (FFVII attack). Sephiroth can also manipulate weather, and also has the ability to destroy the planet.

Now I dont have much evidence as to how Noctis would pwn Sephiroth, but; Noctis in the trailer was seen teleporting with ease, fluidly, and accurately to kill his foes. He also has (i think 12) weapons that he can materialize and manipulate telekinetically at will, as well as those weapons varying in shapes and sizes and forms. Also, Noctis (from what i've seen) is cold hearted, calm and cool, and will not hesitate to finish his foes (kinda like Sasuke but cooler). I mean sure, Sephiroth may have the power to destroy the world, but would Noctis really give him enough time to do that? Like I said, we dont know much about Noctis atm, but from what i've seen, i can confidently say that Noctis is (one of the most) coldest characters in Final Fantasy, and can take down just about anyone.

What do you guys think of our little debate? Who would win? Plz no flaming and answer with some thought and courtesy. Tell us why you decided who would win!

You asked for a serious response for who's stronger; Noctis or Sephiroth.
You can't ask stuff like this, mainly because it's stupid, but also because it's childish, degrading to the game, and because it's really stupid.

But if you want serious, I'll give you serious:
Noctis and Sephiroth live in two different worlds where different rules apply. In the world of FFVII materia is necessary for the use of magic, in FFvXIII some other thing is required.
Putting the match in the world of FFVII would render Noctis almost defenceless as he'd have no magic, and that's obviously one of his strengths.
Putting the match in the world of FFvXIII might still have Sephiroth win, because he might also get some kick ass magic depending on the rules of that world WHICH WE DO NOT KNOW.

1st of all, im not sure if i did, but i believe i already stated that i do not (or anyone else(except Tetsuya mabye)) knows much about Noctis' powers, so that was all based on the trailer. BASED off the trailer, i concur that Noctis is indeed cold hearted, calm and cool-headed. He twisted a soldier's neck, impales a soldier in the stomach (which showed blood as well), and he calmly took a direct hit from a rocket and thought nothing of it. But tell me, based off the news, what is Noctis' personality exactly? No sarcasim, really, im curious.
