When the Vidzone app thing launched on the PlayStation Store I didn't think anyone would really care, but according to the PS Blog, it has had a million downloads and 100 million video views. The top 10 is well predictable though.

I found it to be rather shit, myself. Honestly, it's nothing the internet and a thumb drive can't do.

It's ok i suppose, I've only used it for when i had a party, but that's the only use I've really had it for.
You can create playlists, there's fuck loads of video's, but ones your really want are never usually on there.
Plus mine automatically loads in Dutch because my PS3 is fucking retarded, i know others have had problems with this, but i suppose it's just to do with weird IP tracing or whatever.

But they are shit in their updates, 3/4 of what is on the charts on VidZone is around a couple of months old, or just Michael Jackson. urg.

Aaaaah, that's why I never found it. I remember Neal and Cathryn talking about how uselessly shit it was, so I figured maybe it really was and Sony got rid of it.

Guess not lol. Anyway, I swap to an EU account and check it out for myself.

You have to be a resident of either the UK, France, Australia or some other countries which I can't remember to support Vidzone. I wasted a good part of my afternoon trying to get it for my PS3 only to find out it checks your IP, or something, much like the US video store. I'm a Swiss resident and it doesn't work for me either.

Oh well. :aldo: I'll just stick to the consensus of this board that it's a load of balls and thus, not much of a loss.

yes, i live in germany. i recently have Vidzone for 2 weeks, so it's no big deal to live w/o it. not neccessary but cool to have.
