Just curious about Tidus' clothing

What exactly is that on Tidus' (i think left) arm? Same goes for Jecht I guess. I think their clothing looks cool, and I never noticed how the main FFX/Zanarkand symbol shown on Tidus' shorts and Jecht's chest was actually designed from a hook, and that it's supposed to represent a T and a J, the 1st letters in Tidus' and Jecht's name..

I'm still pissed about that lol. had all celestial weapons fully upgraded, wakka had about 12k hp, had awesome armor (so did Tidus and Rikku) and my characters were just savages! He is not that strong- I wanna see him perform all those moves IN real-time.

Dude, calm down, it's just what I think is all, based on what i've seen so far in the final fantasy 13 versus trailers. I mean, based on that, (that was in cgi right?) he pwns just about everyone. He teleports, he's cruel yet calm and cool, he has multiple weapons of various shapes and forms, and as far as I know each of his weapons bring out a different ability/personality in him.
