I just met a guy during a game of Resi 5 demo who just was not a very nice person. First it started with him not sharing ammo or health or helping during combat. Then he wouldn't let me through a locked door for 3 minutea, Running off instead to steal more ammo and health. When he finally got to the door, I asked what the hell took so long. He then used sheva to taunt me, before opening the door I might add. Naturally, this pissed me off, so I left him alone with the guy with the chain saw. He didn't die >_<. After this came a long, 20 minute dual of wills: who could waste the most time (him) when the other person wanted to just end the level (me). Me quit? As if:P. Eventually, though, he managed to kill me with a combination of 4 grenades (the first 3 missed. I dared him to throw the 3rd one) and the electrical cooling unit. I told him I was going to submit a negative review. He then put his mic on (silent the whole game) and said something. I couldn't hear him though, as I had just taken mine off. Afterwards, as I was filing the report (I expect nothing to happen, I just did it to vent my frustration) he sent me a text saying that only pussies like me would file a report. So I sent another one:wacky:.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a whiny bitch who cries to other people when something doesn't go his way, demanding to be consoled. Life is just that way; I've taken my fair share of shit from people, almost all of it in person. I just get over it, and will promply forget about it later on if it's not important enough. I just thought it would be a good topic to discuss in the dry spell of good threads that have been poping up lately.
So what about you guys? What negative experiences did you experience over the internet? How did you deal with it at the time? Did you give 2 shits or did you take it personally? And most importantly, if you did take it personaly, are you over it?

I just had a guy buff and heal me as I fought Trandila in Aion. I feel really bad because I'm a noob who can't figure out chat and I couldn't thank him for it.In fact, guys buff me wherever I go. It must be because of my outstanding charisma and battle prowess.
Or the fact that I put the chest slider on max in character creation. Fear the Assassin Tits.
I only come across douchebags in forums and even then, it takes a fair bit to shit me off. Unless I have personal things going on, then my tolerance is substantially reduced.

a certain someone broke my heart and left me for someone else.....in less than a week. Well i guess it's pretty easy to ditch someone on the internet. :wtf:
INTERNET ROMANCE = NOT A GOOD IDEA.
..i've learned my lesson. And now i just laugh about it. :origa:
oh, and there used to be a member here who claims that she was the basis of a certain ff character's face. Of course, who'd believe that shit? I asked the moron to provide a photo but she just bitched at me. And then the other members started bashing her too. Afterwards, she edited her previous posts just to make her look innocent. plus she even sent a message to me asking whether i have a problem with her or something...i mean, what the heck, i don't have the time for pretentious dolts like her. She added me up on msn, along with some other members who bashed her too, but i just blocked her. Lol.

You silly woman, you were supposed to have funny conversations with her and then share them.

You aren't important enough to warrant the implication, so don't worry.

I was playing a 4 single Slayers match on RE5, the other 3 kept ganging up and killing me so i just decided to lurk up high and steal points, while also taking them off one by one for the lulz.
I kept my mic off, and i just got 3 American's trying to bad mouth me, i laughed even more when they couldn't get to me.
I won that epic round and sealed a beautiful victory for women, then pissed them off more when i turned my mic on and they found out i was a woman. lulzzz.

It seems like this guy really got to you, honestly you shouldn't let it bother you. Easier said then done I know, we've all had our fair share of things getting personal for no good reason online and I've been there myself but in hindsight the best solution in these situations is always to just walk away, there's always going to be more people to play with who aren't morons. These types of people get off on annoying others and though you might think they'll get a kick from making you quit, they're going to have more fun in the long run annoying you constantly for however long you play their game.
My personal experiences of this kind of thing come from the BF2142 game and the whole "team kill" for getting a particular vehicle thing that would arise, I've had it done plenty of times so I didn't often take it personally, because a certain number of team kills translated to a kick or ban, meaning they could only do it a few times. There were the occasional people who'd get around the system and find a way to get you killed time and time again with no penalty, so yeah I've got myself a ban for killing them back on a server or two, but yeah I forgot about it and got over it pretty quickly. Looking back I probably just made them laugh more and should have just stopped.

Yes, at the time I guess the dude got to me. But, it's the next day now and I'm over it. Plus, I just finished with co-op game with another person, who was infact the exact opposite of the guy from last night. So it's all good.

Yeah I remember playing RE5 in survivors, these guys weren't able to beat me and the difference in the points was huge then they started to gang up on me they were like locusts they just kept in coming...at the end of the match I got second place just by 80 points of difference and then they kicked me out of the party and I heard this girl say "remove him I don't to fight that coward again"but they were the ones running...that battle left a bad taste in my mouth.

another example of a dumbass who deletes his posts just to look innocent, and possesses the inability to take hints.
