Who's your favourite major Japanese publisher apart from SQEX?

I'm curious to find out which Japanese developers are more popular than others so I'd like to do a poll and find out what the most popular Japanese developer other than SQEX is on this forum. ^_^

Why focus specifically on Japanese publishers? Not that my answer would change, Nintendo is my favorite publisher regardless of region (even over SE). I just wish NOA didn't suck, but I think it's just an issue with America since Sony's North American branch sucks too.

I don't know that much developers because when I don't play that much games lately... These are my favorite J-developers:

- Nintendo: That's pretty obvious.
- Capcom: Various game genres, high quality games:
- Namco Bandai: Sometimes they're able to deliver a very high quality game/RPG like Sony and Nintendo can only do.

I'm sorry, I don't know much games from that list... I'm a RPG only person...:'(

I thought as much but that opens up a paradox where I'd have to list companies like tri-Ace and Monolith Soft which would the poll options too long. By sticking with the main publisher it allows the poll to focus on the companies that own the IP and sell it rather than the actual team that makes it.

I'm a big Guilty Gear fan and have been playing Battle Fantasia and BlazBlue almost as much as Street Fighter IV on my 360. Arc System Works are really great at 2D fighters and their character designs are insanely imaginative. They're a great company.

I HAD to go with Sony becuase of Gran Turismo and Team ICO games. But ofcourse Nintendo is great, and so is Capcom. And I lvoe Atlus too. But again, GT and Shadow of the Colossus. It's like my bread and butter.

I've been here a year and I can honestly tell you they won't change. If you want to make a mark on this forum then you'll have to be an online badass or plain obscene. I chose the second which is why I made myself a shemale a few months back and now a paedo; it just feels natural posting shit like that here.

The only mods I respect are Kitmitsu and Naunen as they do their jobs with dignity such as a mod is supposed to.

I think I'm going to have to remake this thread. There are a lot of regular members that are taking it seriously and even giving reasons for their choices despite a mod corrupting the poll options and results. That's great and kudos to the regular members for it.

I'm taking off Ninty and Sony in the new one though as they are not third party like SQEX and the rest of the options. They will be affected by console fanboyism. It will up shortly, in the mean time this thread can be closed. That is all.
