When you ask them where the train station is in Japanese, they beg you for sorry and run away, because to be polite they want to explain it in English but they can't^_^. I don't know how, but 15 minutes later they're running after you like "gaikokujin, gaikokujin!" with a map where the train station is marked.:D (That's a real story)
