Agito will probably end up on PSP2

Well, it makes sense doesn't it? No matter how close it may be, XIII still isn't out yet. Knowing Nomura, its gonna be forever till Versus sees the light of day, and really who knows when Agito will launch.

I don't really think this is bad though. All of the latest rumors say that the PSP2 will be as powerful as the original Xbox. If any of this turns out to be true, Agito will be even more beautiful than we currently expect.

I am no expert on game development, but... wouldn't SE's Final Fantasy team need to get its hands on the console first to develop Agito? I mean, PSP Go has not been released yet! I think it is more obvious that Agito has been tested/developed on PSP and not PSP2. PSP GO maybe. Rumors Rumors Rumors.

I doubt it. It's not like they've been sitting on their arses doing nothing the past 3 and a bit years. No one knows when the PSP2 is coming out or what it's going to be capable of - discussing the possibility now seems a bit off.

It's not possible that maybe, just maybe, they want to get XIII out and then use Versus and Agito to just back it up a bit? I wouldn't be surprised if Agito has been chugging along quite well all this time.

my only thought is this: it's gonna stay on the psp.

if they were to move the game onto a different console it might be the playstation 3 who knows. but looking at it's graphics it would go to the ps2.

but it would take some work simply moving a game from one console to another rather than making it for both of those. which we know SE MOSTLY doesn't do (so don't bring up ff13 dammit i know it's an exception).

but see if agito was coming out before versus and was anounced directly after ff13 came out there would be no chance in hell that they would back track and send it to the ps2. beside, SE hasn't made a game for the ps2 since re: chain of memories and expansions for ff11 sure as hell don't count

Fable I doesn't look that great and if PSP2 would have such graphics I wouldn't call it a next gen handheld. Sony is some sort of lord if it comes down to hardware and I'm sure they would be able to have better quality as an xbox on their next gen PSP.

It might be exaggerated, but I'm not making things up.

Sony wants to have console graphics on their next-gen device (OK I get it Xbox sheesh>_<), and Nintendo wants to produce a small, economical handheld in the future.

As for the PSP2, I dont really carea bout graphics as long as there is something interesting about what the console can do besides its visuals. PSP had the ability to have PS2 graphics, and I think its a worthy console. I am expecting alot more from a PSP2 though in terms of functionality and usability.

I thought this said PSP Go before I came in here, but now I see it says PSP2.

Apart from the fact I can't even remember it being announced, even Moklin stated that they moved it from Mobile to PSP already. Imagine waiting even longer until the PSP2 is made (or whatever stage it's supposedly could be in). It wouldn't make sense, just like this topic doesn't make much sense to me.

Other than that, the graphics of the PSP are really impressive (to me at least). However, all I do is use it to play my Playstation One games on, so I don't really know how good the graphics can be other than my experiences with Crisis Core (it's one of the two games I have for PSP). The only way I'd be interested in a PSP2 is if it could handle PS2 games.

6 years after they launched, i think its about time the new handhelds rolled in. Agito will probably go to PSP2, judging by the amount of other games they have in the pipeline Agito will not launch until 2012, which by then the world would have ended, and if not that then the PSP would be dead.
