It think the function of the last ellipsis in "And..." serve as ambiguity. This uncertainty permits player to decide any phrase or statement or even statementS that is/are most poetic/fit best in the storyline/main theme of Final Fantasy VIII. I mean, something like "I love bacon" seems rather ... off. Was there an evident theme or motif about bacon... think not--Final Fantasy VIII was better than that! LOL. Anyway, if i were to put some last poetic words, I prefer "You'll be forever lost in darkness.../...Never forget them". LOL. Poetic or cheesy? The whole "darkness" thing reminds me that I played too much KH. LOL. Oh well.
