I had the chance to beta and the Korean version a while back. It was shiny. The combat system seemed more action-like than MMOs I've played. Fun to be had even before entering the game, the customization while making your character is fucking extensive.
I'd play it if I didn't already have FFXI. :wub:

World of Warcraft, while fun for a time still and always has looked like it was made with crayons, Aion from what I've seen of it, is much closer to Lineage 2 in art style, I'd take a hint of anime style over a hint of 4 year old with a new crayola set any day.

Don't get me wrong, art style is one of the things I don't care so much about, if it's a fun game I can get past it most of the time, but for Aion it's a real plus for me, to have a style I really like.

I liked Lineage 2, but It had a few glaring problems, I played it for a good while but some stuff bugged me about it.

Aion looks like Lineage 2 and seems to have addressed every issue I was concerned about, it almost seems too good to be true. I'll definitely check it out.

If you preorder it then you'll get a beta code. Try it out during the beta (if it's still going actually :wtf:) then just cancel your preorder if you don't like it.

Yeah, I'm going to preorder it today, not sure if I can this late and still get into the beta test for the 14th but Play.com say they send their codes out tomorrow so... maybe.

Just got finished with the beta test weekend of this game. Really really enjoyed it, gliding was a lot of fun. Roll on release ^^.

Would be cool if some of you guys who play it say what server you're going on, that way I can join it and call you nubz in game.

Lol yeah... gotta agree with you there, nothing against Americans in general but the ones I've met on video games range from gun nut loonies to dog fucking prison guards (I wish I were joking T_T).

It's a shame you can't find a way to get an EU copy, but even if you could what would the latency be like? Pretty nasty I'd imagine and thats even for the fast internets (which don't seem to exist there.)

I played CB3 on EU servers, it was fine - and my internet is far from spesh. It really is just cause I'm a cheap bitch.
