So im thinking about selling my wii pretty much beacuse i regard it as the worst 3rd gen system, never play it and the games are for old people and children imo. Seriously like 3 good games have came out and ive had it since 2007 :|... and with the 150 or so dollars i might get could be used to buy some good ps2 rpgs (any in mind?) and ps3/ xbox 360 games :D. Infamous talked me into this. Also im selling it to gamestop (i know rip off) but 150 dollars is better than a peice of trash sitting in my closet. The reason im not using ebay or w.e is im 15 and my parents wont let me :wtf:.

If you like Rpgs you should get Tales of symphonia 2,If like adventure get Zelda the twilight princes,If you like first person hardcore shooting get Resident evil umbrella chronicles,if you like fighting get smash bros brawl,if you like racing get mario car,if you like castlevania get castlevania judgement...and some titles are coming to the wii like silent hill shattered memories,the conduit the darkside chronicles and other titles,I don't think selling your wii is a good idea besides if you sell it you won't get much out of it....

Bought the 2nd tales of symphonia after LOVING the first one, its shit. Beat Zelda, reanted RE and beat it, played SSBB with my friends until its just not fun anymore =P, dont like racing, only castelvania i liked was that one for the N64 and the girl that threw balls :o. Silent hill COULD be cool but i dont know if its worth keeping a console for ya know? Thanks for your opinion though :D.

Wii is a piece of shit..
btw my cousin bought new wii(of course i told him to buy ps3 instead, but noo:S) few months ago and i was soo disappointed and now is he too(he sooo rarely plays it).

Urgh. It made me stroke. I can completely understand where people get the idea that it's the 3rd gen (fucking Sony), but that doesn't make their thinking that it actually IS the 3rd gen any more correct or acceptable.

all the good games are coming out in 2010 including the new tales game(i know symphonia 2 blew but whatevs), the new zelda which IMO has never disappointed, if you haven't played okami then i suggest you do because its amazing

but i also am feeling the same way, i thought there were going to be more awesome games and there aren't

Wii was proof anyone would buy any crappy system with repackaing and good marketing. Nintendo came out with good marketing saying its system for everyone. Well hate to tell you that wii as same exact specs as the battery designed Gamecube. Everything is same except look and ugly remote controller. People just bought it just because it had mario and was overhyped. My friends kid had it sold after a couple months of having crappy system. A coworker wants to sell it too. Its a system that loses its excitement after you figure out you just rebought a gamecube.
I say sell it and get a real next gen system.

Im just asking opinions of other people on this forum. If your gonna have a panic attack about it don't come in here an reply, negative nancy. I know Nintendo wasn't a 3rd gen console but i didnt want to put 7 gen (beacuse i really dont know lol), obviously so far more people think keeping it is a good idea, but see if i REALLY wanted to play a wii game sometime in the future my best friend who lives like 3 houses down has a wii and could really care less if i borrowed it forever (they hate it to). A new tales and zelda game doesn sound cool though :rolleyes:.

2010 seems to be when the good stuff is coming out, I think Mario Galaxy 2 is coming out this Christmas.

Sell it, I did the same thing long ago and do not regret it. Yea, Mario Galaxy is cool and all but its not worth justifying your purchase IMO.

i would say that it depends if you have freinds or not. if you dont have freinds then sell it, burn it, or chuck it at your mom, i dont care. but if you do have freinds the wii is always a pleasent multiplayer experience in games like wii sports, smash bros brawl, and... oh wait! thats IT.

There working on a new zelda and a new mario.
Mario galaxy 2 i think.

But for the rest there not much to come out i think.

y do you try so hard to defend the crappiest current gen console to market? its just a gamecube with motion control and wifi.

the "new zelda" has barely been announced and link wont even hav a sword so wat good will motion control be, with the exception of clicking on faries...

mario galaxy well... its mario so... red steel 2 looks stupid and the new metroid may not be as great as hopes are.

are 3-2 games that will come out 1-2 years from now worth keeping a console? im noting that these are all single player wich is no good for the wiis initial purpose wich is to entice mounds of little children into shaking controlers in one room

Red Steel 2 looks gorgeous, that art style is superb. Mario is fun, and so is Zelda, and I am sure it will be announced soon. Plus, you have all of the Resident Evil titles coming out for it, and Mad World was epic.

If you are a hardcore gamer, then you should buy a 360 or a PS3 first obviously. But after you own one of those, a Wii is a great addition.

Or, if your an unlucky bastard like I was and your parents bought you a Wii before you got your PS3, just keep it and get a PS3 or 360 later. You will just lose a ton of cash if you sell it.

I'm keeping my Wii for the New Zelda and Monster Hunter Tri. So I'll be keeping the console for a few more years. Monster Hunter Tri will take up a ton of hours to finish, probably over 100, just like the previous two games.

Well thanks for your opinions everyone, i guess im going to keep it until the new Zelda game comes out and tales of Gracia. I watched the trailer for tales and it looked pretty cool :), although if my parents decide to make an ebay account i cant promise im still going to have a wii lol. Thanks!

Arc Rise Fantasia, Tales of Graces, Metroid Other M, Mario Galaxy 2, NSMBWii and Sin and Punishment 2 are coming in the next year and a half, another Zelda and DQX are planned for 2010/2011, and we'll surely see more B-level stuff from Nintendo like F-Zero, Star Fox, etc along with who knows what from third parties.

People are still considering selling their Wiis? I guess it's also a great time to sell a PS3 too with GT5, GoW3, FFXIII and all that coming up too.

If you don't have any interest in Nintendo's premier franchises (Zelda, Metroid, Mario, etc.), if you don't like the fact that quality third party titles on the console are few and far between, and if you are not willing to wait out the long gaps in-between quality game releases for the console, then the Wii probably isn't for you.
