Do any of you know any good software that could make trailers other then iMovie or Windows Movie Maker or After Effects or Vegas? I want to make another FFXIII trailer and i don't want to use WMM. it was difficult with that software to get what i wanted.

I'm guessing you have a mac? Final Cut Pro is my lover, it's so quick and easy to get the hang of and has a million ways of adjusting everything if you so wish it.
I just finished a editing a short film on it and it went like a dream, even though a lot of the footage had to be properly re-jigged (especially audio, ugh).
Avoid Avid, it sucks.

Do this. Final Cut Pro is the best.

Final Cut is still lacking a number of features that Avid has, and Avid is still the superior platform for large-scale projects, but you're editing trailers so both Avid and Final Cut Pro are both overkill. If you want great results at a descent price then purchase Final Cut Express and you'll be good for a few years.

Omg I am having the toughest time with this stuff. I first had issues with audio because the playback kept fucking beeping at me, but then I read up on how to fix that and well jeez it was a lot easier then I thought. Man was I stupid with that. Anyway, I am using Final Cut Pro and for some reason it doesn't work the Windows Movie Maker does (I expected that) but I got that program faster and easier then I did FCP.
Maybe I just need to try and redo this project a little more to get things goin in my head that it isn't as difficult as I am making it seem. I am more having issues with the dropped frames and rendering (which btw is a complete bitch). I am also having issues with trying to place scenes in certain areas where I want them. With WMM you could import and drag and drop and do some editing there but with this, it imports it and you can drag and drop but as far as editing, I am having some issues.
Like I said, maybe I need more time

Try the Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. Or try to look from Video Editing Software Review at http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/.
