They are my fave JRock band at the moment by quite a margin (which is why they are in my sig), their stuff just sounds great, it's like a mixture of Opera and Rock. Almost like what Uematsu did with Advent: One-Winged-Angel in FFVII:AC.

SQEX got Gackt on DoC:FFVII and with the Gothic style they are going with in Versus XIII it would be great to have Versailles performing the theme.

(They're all guys BTW. Just sayin' before Visual Kei noobs start asking.)

Speak after you hear this as the theme song in Versus XIII! Man, how could I forget about this tune? It's perfect for Versus XIII. It's by the band NoGoD. The vocalist is great, he puts in the emotion that Nomura wants to get out of Versus XIII in this song.

He's singing about how he has a split personality, one being good the other being evil and how it troubles him and that he can only kill the evil by killing the good (suicide). Sounds like Noctis to me! :D

And yes, I know, the vocalists glove is badass. ^_^

Well, usually you can say what you want in the OP and if other people disagree and have their own choice they can post it and that's where the epic discussion begins.

But, yeah I guess I could improve my wording of my topic titles. I still stand by that NoGoD video being a good choice for the Versus XIII theme song. If anyone can think of getter then go ahead and post it.

But at least I'm amking an effort to make stuff to talk about Kitmitsu, you have to at least give some kudos for that.

What Nomura is telling us about is the real Noctis, his true personality. Not his fucked up alter ego that we saw kicking shit all over the place in the trailers with its whole red eye.

Also I'm not talking about Bipolar, that's defined as going from euphoria and depression in quick bursts. The illness that NoGod are singing about is Multiple Personality Disorder. Something that Noctis seems to be suffering from.

As for the band, no, I would prefer that Square-Enix creates the music for Versus, rather than to get some faggish J-rock group do it. Somnus and the other instrumental from Yoko Shimomura are already a great start for the music in Versus.

You just have to look at the shit Nomura has said in the Famitsu interviews, the trailers and his past work. It falls together.

Noctis is insane and he both love and hates Stella at the same time. That's the ambivalance Nomura is talking about.

Kelly Bailey from Valve, who has quickly became one of my favorite composers for game music.

He does such an awesome job of writing songs that sound good, fit the mood, and put you in the mindset he wants you in. Listening to the songs without experiencing the part of the game they are from definitely does take away from their "power," but I'll throw a couple out there anyway.

So when Nomura made his Cloud anime design realistic in AC it ended up looking visual kei. It's why Gackt could blend in CC:FFVII.
