I'm disappointed Uncharted is even more of a TPS than an adventure game, I was hoping they would take it in the other direction.

And aside from that, this has been a lot more boring than I expected.

i know dammit i, cant belive this i despise mmo's if 14 is just a clone of 11 with new features its sad really i need storyline and a DECENT battle system. Not the same regergetated mmo battle systems that are all too common anymore man xiii trailer was great but..............now im kinda upset.

I felt that Sony won. It's all a matter of opinion though. I was just more intrigued by what Sony showed.

Loved the Uncharted 2 demo looked mindblowing, and so did God of War and GT5..the rest was either expected, leaked, or plain boring. Sony had some high moments, but MS show I think was consistently interesting and exciting so im goin to give it to them not because I love my xbox, but because their conference was done better . Still, with those games I think sony finally managed to secure a PS3 purchase from me once they drop the price! :P

Man FF fans are implacable. Square had a terrific showing, and for me XIV was the highlight. This is billed as an MMO not an MMORPG, so I think it will be a substantially different creature than XI. Do you actually think they would have made another mainline MMO if there was no demand for it? Stop acting like spurned lovers.

Really? From the sounds of it, it's a choose-your-own-adventure with multiple perspectives, and you make your choices based on QTEs in game. I could see it being good for what it is, but it's far too hyped for that kind of game.

I can only imagine the disappointment when it actually comes out and it doesn't turn out to be what people think it is.

After I saw the conference I was like "really?" in one of the 700 ways I can ask that question. But, I am going to pick up the PSP Go and I enjoyed the Final Fantasy XIII trailer. Wasn't expecting the XIV announcement but it wasn't anything big for me as its an MMO and MMO's are nerd magnets.

I was hoping for something that would be like "Oh My God, did THAT just happen?" but nothing like that did. *sighs*

Oh, and the motion controller was cool but Project Natal completely overshadowed it by leaps and bounds.

I thought it was good. definately my favourites were GoW3 demo and The Last Guardian trailer.

There is just so much shit coming out for the PSP that they took up an hour of the show trying to cover some of the major points for it. (PSP GO! coverage and whatever)
They can only fit so much into 2 and a half hours.

Sony had a great E3. The motion controller was fun to watch, but to be honest I thought Project Natal and the Motion Controller sucked.

To me Sony's motion controller came off as far more functional than Natal. It helped that they showed actual, you now, games during the tech demo, rather than just some limp wristed chav cycling thru his favorite dresses. I just don't see how well Natal will work without some kind of physical controller.

And sorry to anyone who was blown away, but Molyneux is, and always has been, completely full of shit. He's the door-to-door vacuum salesman of the industry. That Milo demo was as choreographed as a ballet.

Did you not see the Natal perform a ball smashing game (by some woman) and a painting game (by some man). That was performed live during the conference.

Quantic can easily pull this off aslong as the whole story, characters etc.. is solid and good.

yea, sony conference was every entertaining. MS con was a good start and Nintendo had some good announcment too but Sony definetely won. Uncharted 2, GoW 3 and Assassins Creed 2 gameplay, FinalFantasy 13 and 14 trailers, PSP Go, GT and Metal Gear. Good job Sony.

i was little disappointed in some areas. Would of like to hear mores video games news than them brag about sales and what not. I hated when they did it last year and I hated it this year.

yeah but the project Natal is something that never been done/tried in that kinda way so I understand that it needs much more time before it can be done Live in good way, the motion controller has been out there for quite time on the other hand and the technique has been known even longer. Just think of the possibilities there would be if they actually managed to make it work good

The comment I have been making in the debate over Natal and the Sony wand is that Sony's wand is more likely to be implemented into more hardcore games while I think Natal is going to be for mini-games much like we saw at the demo in order to challenge the Wii. We will just have to wait until they come out before we can see which one is better.

Sony's software was very impressive and even brought some new software surprises that I am interested in. Alan Wake was the one thing that disappointed me in Microsoft's conference, too much like Resident Evil. MILO was creepy, I am surprising the people here have not taken more jabs at MILO. they seem to make all these sexual jokes about random things, but MILO is just asking for it.
