Shadow Hearts?

Am thinking of buying it as it's usually quite expensive but someone I know is willing to offload it for cheap. Is it any good? I just finished Persona 4 so I wanted a new RPG to play.

I almost bought this. From what I remember it suffered the fate of coming out the same time as FFX. Never played it in the end but it looked interesting enough.

I've never played it, but I want to and I'd buy a copy if I saw one. Buy it so you can gloat.

Yeah, it's okay. The battle system is very unique but it's kinda frustrating at times though. The two games have an interesting story so you might as well grab yourself a copy.

Get all 3 they are very well done and fun rpg's you shouldn't be disappointed if your not the flashy graphics type. Love the battle system and storyline . If you like one play them all bc they are all pretty good if you ask me. Not the usual rpg, very interesting. I think thats what kept me playing it through 3 games

2 was good from what I played over my cousin's house. I've played 1 too but ts graphics were awful. Battle system is good though, unless your timing sucks.

The 2nd Shadow Hearts is one of the best RPGs on the PS2. Its a very unique series, although I haven't played the first or third. Many of the team member responsible for the 2nd title went on to found feelplus, the studio that developed Lost Odyssey, so I don't know if we'll see anymore more from them for awhile.

Yeah I remember buying the first game a few months after I had finished FFX. The pre-rendered backgrounds set me off a bit, especially for a PS2 game, but it's still a very good game, and the second is even better. Didn't like the third as much, mainly because it has no direct link to the first two games, but they're still worth playing :) Actually, I wish they'd make another one... :P

Shadow Hearts is awesome, great battle system and intriguing storyline.

Don't play the third one though, it ruined everything ;(

Shadow hearts 2 was pretty damn GOod I loved the wrestler LOL! The battle music damn good all the way through, I bought cds and bleeeh not that great. Good characters loved the little princess.
Game is worth playing it's a continuation of Shadow hearts. Had a lot of funny moments!

LOL! ...yeah, true. If you're going to get yourself a copy, just buy the second one. It's a steal compared to the first one, plus SH2 is humorous and at the same time intriguing.
