PSP Go Go Go

So I guess its official, though I don't think anyone really doubted its existence. PSP Go: thin, sliding & 16 gigs. No UMD. It was revealed to GCN when they received Sony digimag Qore early. Gran Turismo & Metal Gear are confirmed for the system (maybe some connectivity between the PSP game & PS3, as the new Metal Gear was revealed in Famitsu PSP/PS3)

Me wonders: Sony has complained about rampant piracy, so since this doesn't use discs, do you think they may have taken measures to prevent piracy with this version?

Anyone know if the mentioned famitsu article or whatever on metal gear psp go, has been scanned and uploaded anywhere yet(Edit2::I just saw it came out on the 30th, sooo yesturday i guess ill be able to find them soon.)? Man i really need to learn Japanese and then get a subscription to famitsu , like immediately .


edit::: I just read this on ign was from the 21st but one of the comments someone made kinda makes sense to me and for the next metal gear games in the series. This is like my best case senerio what i would really want......

I have to agree with the analysis on the psp go as far as how it looks and how bad our hands will hurt or stay stuck in a controller holding position. But as far as making a new trend even bigger in video games , with downloadable only media and games i think its a trend that will continue in video game consoles .

Plus Final Fantasy and Metal gear are like staples in my video game universe ill follow them to any piece of hardware no matter how uncomfurtable it is to play.


Damn i think carpel tunnel is in my future, does Sony want us all to get it when we get older? Its a evil plans first stages if you ask me , i wonder what the next stage would be?

This looks better than the original PSP(not design, but the left stick). You will not hold your hands on the lower part when you play it. You will most likely not hold your hands next to the screen. If it is like I think it is, cramps will not be a problem. We will just have to wait and see someone play it properly. Too early to judge. Left stick placement does not look as bad as the regular PSP.

I really don't like the design, the screen's smaller, and I don't like that it's digital download only. I love having physical copies of my games. I'll keep my 3000 for now
