Yes most of my life nowadays has been spent on the computer. You all say, "Tempus Fugit, what do you do all the time on the computer?" And I'll answer back, "I cruise the internet, make AMVs, and try to edit pictures and such."

Now most of the edited pictures I've done was on Paint. I don't have Photoshop or any of that better photo editing stuff but I still like editing pictures and what not. The signature that I made I had to do at school. During my free time in computer class. :D

Here was a school assignment called "Fortune Cookie". Yes it's a freaky name but it turned out great! I think...!

The Fortune Cookie is very good considering that it's done in MSPaint :)

I also like the third one :) If you like image editing, and you're pretty good at it as seen by your signature, I'm sure there will be some good deals online for buying Photoshop - I bought a used Photoshop 7.0 for about fifty dollars. I can't recommend the place where I bought it from, but I'm sure if you searched you could find some nice deals.

Well actually the Fortune Cookie one was done in Photoshop along with the other two pics I have up. I have done some pretty cool things in MSPaint but I don't wanna show them just yet.

Thanks. I was reading something this girl put up somewhere that showed me many hidden secrets in Paint. So after that it's been easier doing things with it. I think sometimes the simple thing does it. I just wish I had the ability of layers and more brushes.

Just a note though, for most sigs, you don't want your stock turned sideways and taking up most of the sig like in your Zack one. It's an exception for the Lightning one because she's... well, falling. Eheh.

I guess and hope for the best. :D And if I don't get it the right size I just retry. Hehehe. Zack wouldn't fit the other way. I would probably say if I had to remake one of those that I'd remake the Zack one. Thanks for your insight. I really need it. It helps me....think of new stuffs to do! ^_^

Eh...my motto: Stick text where ever you can. :P I'm joking. Sometimes when I wanna hide something (i.e. the cutoff of the render I used in my new signature) I'll use text. I was thinking for awhile then I suddenly realized I haven't done anything with Storm. So I made a sig and avatar pair. I love the inverted blue. It always seems to make a very pretty color of brown.

for MS Paint, saving anything as a JPG or a PNG is a big nono.

For the best quality, you have to save it as a BMP.

There's no difference between jpg and png in photoshop for me so I don't know what's going on with your photoshop (then again, your photoshop deletes brushes)... png is okay, but bmp is the best quality. That's why it's so big. And gif sucks. Never touch it unless you're doing animation or transparents. .__.;

I was listening to Collide Skillet and the song A Little More pops up. I'm listening to it and it gave me a tittle to write after. The writting by the base of Lightning's neck says "If there's no blue sky then raise your blue umbrella" if you can't see....That's from Utada Hikaru's song Colors...if you didn't know that as well.

It's okay to take something that was released for sales purposes - videogame art, videogame renders, screen shots, etc. - but I would be wary of using art that was not meant for commercial reasons.

Heheheh thanks. Honestly what you guys make for with colors and different awesome looking brushes I make up for with text. :'( It's a sad thing yes I know but it's true. (That cosplayer thing was very random. 0.0 Don't know why I did it.)

So yeah, you have the right idea with text -- you're pretty bold with it, unlike me, which I'm kinda envious of to be honest. XD It's just that you have to improve the composition like Yurian said.

I do have access to Photoshop Elements 3.0 at school but really I get nervous whenever I try to do things. Besides. I really can't save alot of pictures at school either because I'm on a school account. But people do alot worse things than me. (i.e. They get on Myspace when it's blocked.:nag: Using Proxyaccess.com or .net. Ooh!) So my text is basically the only thing I can do. I guess it does help me with my poem writing.

As for softening the line, you could use a b/w gradient on a mask of the layer you want to blend in. It doesn't work in elements cause it has no masks for layers, lol, so tough luck if that's what you're using. Or, you could use the smudge tool, but gradients look smoother xD

Yeah, the signature I had to put that on fast. We had like...30 seconds left in class and I needed to send it home....The avatar is plain cause I did it in MSPaint....I tried bluring the line but nothing really happened at the moment. Yeah, I did know there was a cutoff right there..it bugged me but I had to position the picture so it's come out right. Because I'm not that great with Photoshop I had to use the clone stamp...Yes I'm stupid!

Sorry - the font for the signature. I think if it was whiter, it would balance the composition more. Right now, the character makes the piece seem like it's going to tip to the right.

@007vader - So that's how you got my Youtube account. xD I've used Paint for the longest of times. (That being a creation from Paint.) Then peoples here told me to download Gimp. It's a free program that does alot of the same things Photoshop does. And it's free! :D

I'm having all kinds of problems with the hair. Do you have any suggestions? I'm deciding that the hair be a light, reddish color. But whenever I begin to work on it, it ends up looking bad. Actually my teacher did something funky to it when I wasn't looking. :rolleyes: He said it was real light and that he "didn't want me to have to outline the entire thing" so he "darkened" it and everything turned purple. ;)

I just finished this today. It was made for my friend. She's in love with Shadow of the Colossus. I used some of the brushes I downloaded from the internet instead of just the default brushes. I love the way this turned out. I'm very pleased with it.

Yeah, I just mashed a whole bunch of textures together. ;)

Well..January, we got the crap we were supposed to do in graphic arts and one of the projects was to create our own superhero/supervillian. I, being lazy, waited until the last day to decide on a character. (I was also messing around on hero machine so you can't blame me. :P) So I just took a very old sketch and used it.

We had to come up with a super power for our super hero, a logo of some kind, a costume, a background story, and (this is the best part </sarcastic>) a catch-phrase or "battle cry" example. I don't think if we hand drew it we'd have to colour it but I really wanted to even though it took me forever. -__- We had to put it on a background and we're also animating it a bit. I have the arm that's up in the air moving down. I eventually plan on putting lightning in there too or something...And I thought our teacher said something about FLASH animation but I think we might be replacing it with Photoshop animation instead.

It's a very bad sketch. Her right arm's too long with a number of other things (like a large head) but whatever...
