Terminating the Salvation

Fourth film in the franchise gets many scenes ripped from original cut to reach the PG-13 Rating

Meh, we already know some scenes, like Moon Bloodgood's topless shot and a screwdriver being rammed into some soldier's shoulder will be cut from T4, in order to reach that stupid PG-13. But when a friend of mine sent me news that over 40 minutes of footage were terminated (in absence of any other appropriate term) in order to reach that rating, I raged in godly proportions. Plus, McG, the film's director, isn't sure if he'll put all of those missing scenes, INCLUDING THE VERY DARK ALTERNATE ENDINGS, on the future DVD/Blu-ray release. More rage.

Some of the scenes seen in trailers and teasers won't be included in the theatrical version, such as the T-1 emerging from the sewers and attacking the resistance soldiers:

That was one of the scenes I was expecting the most. That shit was supposed to be the T-1's bloody good moment.

Another cut shot was the one in which the T-600 is shown with its original rubber face, as mentioned by Kyle in T1. Instead, we have just a fucking endoskeleton shot.

The rubber face would've make that scene a jillion billion times better. SHIT, SHIT, SHIIIIIIIIT.

You know, after seeing that I actually believed that McG wasn't raping the Terminator series like the Alien/Predator ones ended with AvP. Instead, Warner Brothers did it with their fucking massive footage termination. Warner executives,

DIE IN A FIRE

Terminator PG-13? Cutting scenes to get a broader audience? FAMILY-FRIENDLY? NIGGA FUCKING PLEASE. GIVE ME A BREEEEEAKKKKKKK. People say they're doing it because the budget was so fucking high. BITCH NO. Cameron's T2 was the most expensive movie ever at the time, yet is was R, and it made shit brix of money. With all these scenes sent to the netherworld, the theatrical version won't probably be so pleasing.

Thanks for reading my rant. <3 you all.

Ugh for fuck sake. Read the name... Terminator. :aldo: It's clearly not for fucking children and kids that are afraid of blood. That is utterly pathetic. Still looks good though but still, fuck. :wtf:

Wow, this truly goes to show where the entertainment industry is heading. All there is left to do now is make Alien 5 a 12 rating, give Predator a cartoon on CBBC, and have Keifer Sutherland present bitesize science episodes. Although that would be fucking cool to have Keifer teach me about physics. :cathryn: Goodbye classic movies, yet another nosedive in modern movies has layed a fat shit on your once honoured trail of love. :patriot:
