So, the finale is up tomorrow, all of Scandinavia, a majority of eastern Europe and the cheating Big Four and a few others will be present. Then, who will the guys in this place vote for? Personally, I hope Norway wins, of course, but Greece is the one I'd be voting for. Frankly, there's not much else to vote for this year either. Mostly "UGH!"s and "WTF?!"'s all the way through. But at least Norway's got a good chance of victory this time around, as opposed to the last two years....

I'm such a faggot, I'm watching the first semi-final on SBS right now. Not fussed on Montenegro, tbh. I mean, the dancer dude is doing disco moves. What the hell, man?

Norway is the only one I've liked for anything other than so-stupid-its-funny entertainment, but then I'm a sucker for violins accompanied by bizarre choreographed dancing.

Ugh, I just lost 5 masculinity points and I didn't have that many to begin with.

I hope Turkey will win. The singer is Belgian also (like me)
But most of the countries will give the majority of points to their Neighbors, like every year...

Not only neighbours........for example, my country Portugal has a lot of Ucraniana and Romen emigrants so every year Portugal gives most points to that countrys.
I think Eurovison Contest is very unfair.

My sibilings love to watch it but i dont like the musics, countrys are more focused on visual and choerographys than music actually.
Still....i love that music which won the Eurovision Contest i dont remenber what year. They were from Finland, that monsters, remenber?

i like portugal's music for this year, at first i wasnt sure but now that i've heard more then once i like it. she has a great voice. i think we are well represented this year... so much better than last years.
but i dont think the eurovision song contest is so much about the music as much as it is about politics, there have been really crappy winner songs.

I liked Portugalīs song this year too. At least we sang in our own launguage.

As a mildly interested outsider watching everything a day later on SBS, I quite liked Moldova's entry. You know what you all must do now.

Moklin, you say ESC is pretty unfair. Just take a look at the douze and dix pointe that the east bloc are sharing. Not that we're any better in Scandinavia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Finland are sharing our own good of douze pointe as well...

^I agree, I only saw the run down at the end then youtubed it, I LOVE the song<33
Iceland were my fave after them, so I'm glad they got second.

I thought the English one was pretty decent, too, AND WE ACTUALLY GOT SOME POINTS THIS YEAR :awesome:.

Can't believe Norway won, he sounded like a girl. Well, I suppose it's more politics than songs, but what Political-ish stuff has Norway done recently?

^We had a cute guy! :aldo: But whadd'ya mean he sounded like a girl? You've only got gals in your country?

But what a domination....more points than Finland got in 2006, 387 vs 292. Even by average, 9,21 vs 7.,68! But well, NRK, the network who are going to arrange ESC 2010, are going to have a tough time economically. I guess they've already finished the deals of hiring the Telenor Stadium at Fornebu, they were in talking even before the finals started....

Well it was obviously from the very beginning that Norway would win this contest. And I liked the Fairytale song. But it was funny, here they were saying that Iceland for example wouldn't be on the top 5 and it came second.

But even better, he won almost just as our national day May 17th began! We have all reason to be happy :D

Thanks! I bet Fairytail is going to be played a lot from the "russebuss'es" tomorrow, busses and vans that youths celebrating the end of high-school have pimped out totally. Usually red, with huuuge sound systems, that is.

But whatever, I'll just watch the parrot scetch by Monty Python for now....

He's not the only Norwegian here, from all the hype he had gotten i did expect him go high but i really didn't expect him to dominate like that. Also nice suprise that Iceland got second, i liked that one.

Edit: @ S-r-ex: That sure wouldn't surprise me, i live in Oslo so don't think there will be any shortage off'em

^ Well, I'm sleeping over in Sandefjord, fixing up the garden of my late granpa. I'm most likely going to hear it a lot anyways...
