This is an idea I got from another thread but do you think there might be bits and pieces of old crystals left and are used as the "fuel" in the engine sword? Perhaps there is only one whole crystal left and little fragments of other ones that still survive.

It sounds to me like it'd be like Inuyasha a bit....only for the scatteed pieces of the crystal hehe

Yeah. Actually that's quite interesting, how'd you come to that conclusion exactly?

It came from someone's comment that in the closed theater trailer his eyes glowed other colers than red, so I was thinking if each crystal had a perticular property maybe it had a specific color, and chances are in battle you'd use more than one crystal so you would have a range of abilities.

Oh you mean like if the crystal shards had elements like eh..I dunno..'water' his eyes were going to glow blue and all?

Perhaps, but what I want to know is why there is only one crystal left.

Maybe is because this crystals were..uh..'used'?

Used for what? This would, WOULD be even more interesting is if from not only haveing some sort of special property they also had some "human" qualities.

when i was in geography lession at school i realise- do you remember question about his controlling the weather?
and if you were giving attention to trailer you can remember water on the floor near the throne. Storm- rain and water control i think...
or maybe it is somehow connected to the crystal which as i understand located in that *castle*?

Yeah, I think the crystal has some water propererties, that is assuming he gets his power from the crystal.

The crystal is surely the source of the power which is used by Oriveira to fight against his enemies.
Maybe it has other meanings such as it will become a girl who Oriveira will fall in love with?
Er...

They said there would be a promient love story, so it's best not to put romance at the forefront of the game. Here's what I think:

1. The game has to do with bond, so there may be some sort of physical bond between the versus character and the crystal, maybe he has a peice of the crystal inside him?

2. Without a doubt the crystal is the source of his powers.

3. Because the game focuses on the theme of "bond(s)" I think the crystal will have a humanoid form so that it's bond with the main character can go even deeper, like on a more interpersonal/mental/spiritual level.

Are you afraid of getting disappointment if the imagination you have before isn't the same as the game ?
So you don't put romance at the forefront of the game.(?)
To tell you the truth, the game is developed too slowly, which is the reason why I always imagine the development of the game. And then I will write my imagination down. Then they become a novel!
Oh,I dare say I have got mad.
But that can really bring relief to me.

I'm not afraid of the game being different from what I imagine cause it usally is, but Nomura already said there wasn't going to be a dominat love story. There may be one, but it will have a minor role.

I have a new theory concerning the crystal. I think it may be connected to the prince in more ways than one.

1) It's in human form and is a friend of the Prince and may be in some way physically connected with the crystal as well. Maybe part of it is inside the prince with is the source of his powers.
