Like Samurai? Like Blood?

If anyone out there is jonesin' for some new anime, may I suggest SHIGURUI: DEATH FRENZY.

It just dropped a few weeks ago. It's based off of a manga series and is really gory!!!

If you like Samurai Champloo and Ninja Scroll check it out. It's easily more serious than Champloo and based in actual Japanese history. Feudal Japan is my fave!!!

All in all really good plot and solid animation work!

Watched some EPs, its a mix between Dragon Ball(Superpowers) and Samurai(Weapon Wielding) and some attempt of bad humour. Its nothing serious at all, animation is okay but its something you can laugh but nothing compared to Rurouni Kenshin especially the OVAs, Basilisk, Kurozuka, Berserk, Escaflowne in terms of swordsman or samurai Anime.

Anyway, there are a lot of better animes to watch anyway.
