Okay... Has anyone played Shenmue? If not here's a pretty good summary on the game (It's old... For Dreamcast but amazing storyline! Lacks in control but the storyline is friggin' awesome!)

Okay now I'm sure more of you have played Soul Calibur III... Watch this ending for Xianghua:

Xianghua Ending B

Okay... Now if you've played Shenmue over and over again (because there is always something that you can miss in the game, much like FF) then you're probably familiar with most of the voices of the game. Then you'll notice that the voice of Xianghua (horrible voice over) is very much like many of the voices in Shemue. Also notice that Soul Calibur III uses the same QTE (Quick Time Event) system like Shenmue! (Shemue is awesome with it... You could be walking down the street and BAM!! PRESS B!! Bird dropping is coming your way!!! If successful, Ryo'll leap out of the way in an over dramatic manner XD)

Could it be that these two games have a similar root? One is Sega and the other Namco... Hmmm...

Sega and Namco are very similar companies...

Think of how Apple steals ideas from Microsoft and how Microsoft steals ideas form Apple. Sure, they're rival companies, but they both bounce of each other to make an overall progress in the industry.
That's what I think happened here.

Um I don't get it. Just because you had to press B or something? In most games you have to press certain buttons like if some monster grabs you, you may need to mash x to break out. Oh and Dragon Lair for the arcade pretty much invited the timed button press.
