Cid's have recently been placed as antagonists in FFs these days. In 12 and agito 13 and maybe even 13 itself. Are you okay with this switch? Which Cid is the best to you? (In Spirits Within there was a Doctor name Sid.)
General Cid in Agito seems to have used his vast knowledge of airship to do the opposite of the Cid in FF2. Instead of fighting the Dreadnaught, he's made warmachine airships of his own. With this FF appealing to the North Amercian and Europeans, I believe this one will draw a lot of similarities between WW1, 2, and Cold Wars.
But will that mean this Cid will boil down to simply being a selish maniac like in 12 or what people say about Hitler?
As I've heard, only 3 characters will come from Card-Kun's school (including himself). Is it possible that maybe on character will join from Cid's army? Could Cid himself abandon his army and join up after a bigger threat arrives (not uncommon in RPGs).
Wouldn't it be funny if despite all the passion he puts into his speeches that Cid isn't really into the war. But faking it as an inside man for another country?

Well I like this line of making the new generation of Cid an antogonist.
Pheraphs Versus will follow the same way?

In 12 it was great seeing the mad scientist act a lot like Hojo from 7.
But I hope they aren't all 100% like he became. I didn't really like even the Cid in FF7, but I understood his gruff selfish ways. A series of insane Cids would turn them into a curse.... A band on teh 13s unless they had depth.

Cid should be like a Chocobo or a Moogle..... you see what I'm getting at... they can do anything with him so long as he's there....... And they/he doesn't even have to be there but you know...
Nothing wrong with a bad Cid imo :O (nothing wrong with swearing Cid either hehe)
Anyway the thing about the "inside man" is kinda.... er... familiar subject O_O
(Still down from knowing you can't ride chocobos in XIII, maybe we can ride Sazh's one

But, why the hell is it that in every single ff game some evil guy joins your party or a member of your party is tricked by a psychotic freak (FF IV)? I don't know about you, but I luv it... Peace... I'm out

Don't ask why, but for some reason, Noctis's father looks like he'd make a good Cid.
