The Last Remnant. I swear if it is like that I am not buying this game, whether or not it has FF in the title. The Last Remnant 's battle system was SO boring I couldn't evil play the game a 1/4 of the way through. Please tell me this battle system is not like that.

It's a BIG NOT!!! The Last Remnant was like that for me too.

I admit I haven't played The Last Remnant, but based on what I've seen/heard I can't find any notable similarities between the two.

What exactly reminds you of that game?

iIRC, the only similarity between them is full health between battles. The actual system is i think quite diffferent.

topic starter = has issues. Major issues. settle them before the final retail copy. Or don't even bother getting the game at all.

battle system of TLR & FFXIII = Different

FFXIII
- Let's the player's character lift enemies in the air to continue their air juggle
- Does not share the same HP meter
- Battle system retains the turnbased of old FF

TLR
- Player/Enemy shares HP alike
- 1 command fits all, whch you choose the best command that fits your party.

Are they going to make a download able demo for 360 or no? I don't have a PS3

This thread is an EPIC FAIL.

The battle systems are NOTHING like each other. In FF13 you get to pick your commands, in TLR you get a random set of moves based on 3/4 choices and your stuck with it.

Also if any of you got bored with the 360 version of TLR pick up the PC/PS3 version because they added a Turbo to the battle system to speed things up.
