I want something that looks like a fully grown Zodiark , that Esper had so much potential in XII(Just look at his ultimate attack) , I think it was a bad decision to design Zodiark as a "baby Esper".

I'd much rather have Ultima be the strongest magic in the game than a summon.

As for summons: Ifrit, Shiva, Ramuh, Odin, Titan, Alexander, Siren, Bahamut, Carbunkle, Phoenix, Leviathan, and let's hope they surprise use with summons similar to Brothers, Doomtrain and the likes.

I also want an "ultimate" summon similar to Eden or Knights of the Round.

Ultima is very good magic, but it is soo time consuming...that is one of the reasons why i rarely use it.:nag:

Bahamut, Ark, Tomberry, Madeen, Knights of the Round, Diablos, and Alexander... i have to addmit i didn't much care for the switch around in ff12...BUT, it was kinda wierd to see the summons im used too as Base-Ships/ IDK... just my two cents.

they'll obviously retain the basics (ifrit, shiva, carbuncle, bahamut) I hope they bring back Alexander and Diabolos. whatever. as long as they fit the game. some new ones to, and hopefully (for me) start off with a non elemental summon like vaelfor in ffx.

I think that they should put a summon of each of this elements (Fire, Ice, Water. Earth, Wind, Dark and Holy) and some non elemental summons too. The summons that I want to be on Final Fantasy XIII are Ifrit, Shiva, Ramuh, Leavithian, Titan, Typhoon, Odin, Moogle, Chocobo, Carbuncle, Pheonix, Ark, Alexander. Those are the most famous summons on Final Fantasy series and i think they will fit well on Final Fantasy XIII.

My favourites are Valefor, Quezecoltz(can't spell it's name), Bahamut and it's family of dragons, Anima, Lieviathan, Phoenix and Edin. Though I am looking forward to seeing what Bahamut looks like in FFXIII.

Anima would be awesome too, though...it would be weird seeing him in some kind of mechanical form, but maybe in some kind of organic form in pulse, since pulse doesnt look like the kind of place with much technology, unlike cocoon.

i have to say, that would be awesome. and it would work as a dark elemental or non-elemental. (hope for dark) Anima would also probably be one of the strongest ones (Bahamut, Anima and Alexander)

i remember ffvii had multiple bahumut summons. maybe the summons level up like in ffviii and can evolve. like bahamut to neo-bahamut to bahamut zero or whatever.

My personal favorites would have to be:

Ifrit
Shiva
Alexander

They all seem to be pivotal to the storylines so I am sure that they will include it (as well as knowing that Shiva is already here). I seem to remember seeing Ifrit as well since he is usually a beginning summons anyway. But I would really enjoy the summons to be levelable like the Bahamut from FF7. Anyway, it will be interesting to see what they come up with and the new look. Personally, I like the different incarnations that are unique to the game as well and while I don't exactly agree with the way that they handled the summons in FFXII, I know they were just trying something different. One concept that seems to be really wicked though is having the summons (Shiva specifically) as a vehicle you can ride. Wicked!

In 13 I wonder if they'll do it like 8 and have it so each character has 1 or two that fit their personality. I hate it when only one character can do it unless that character is good at other things like Yuna (best healer in an FF EVER, not to mention if you get around to teaching her black magic!). Eiko and Garnet dropped the ball a lot in 9 when they'd drop before getting to summon. Yuna seems like the most effective White Mage/Summoner.

I know Snow has Shiva, and Oreba likely has Carbuncle. I bet Sazh or Gadot will have Ifrit (Gadot more likely), and Lebreau will have Siren. I want Lightning's summon to be completely original. Like Garnet's Ark, or the thunder summon of FF8. Or Anima. Or...

i think everyone agrees on one thing though, bahamut has better be damn awesome in this game. i think they gotta step it up a notch, and make his attack at least look more destructive, cause i've been disappointed in bahamuts lately. they all just seemed so underpowered...
