Cathryn and Whiplash are almost certain the final boss. Square said that they search in finalfantasy13 fansites to collect some ideas and to please final fantasy fans. So...SE should have noticed how perfect Whiplash and Cathryn are for final fantasy 13 boss. They are scary and hard to beat.
