i used to watch cardcaptors when i was in primary school that was awesome, but then they stopped airing it :( the little flying bear (was his name keiro or something) was just too cute:)

And for a film i would say Spirited Away :D i just love the story to it and lin's voice actress in the english dub is pretty good

Death Note as an anime, fucking AWESOME. There were 35 episodes, they didn't try and milk it, they just followed the manga and made every episode riveting.

There's a movie as well, though it's not an anime. I'd say it was probably better, but it's split into two parts (and it's like 5 hours long).

Yeah, the anime was great till L died, then the story sucked ass.

Best anime ever is D. Gray-Man. It's long too.

I don't have a ''one'' favorite anime but one of them is Trigun...

It's an unusual anime since the main character is kinda reversed from standard anime characters since his motto is that no one has the right to take the life of another... Which is strange since he is the most wanted man in the world and an ace gunman....

Has a good story and great battles... definetly recomend it...

I also like the intro wery much...

Hmmm... favorite anime.....well I really have a group of favorites but, I'll just pick on of them.
I'll say Full Metal Alchemist because it really is one of my favorites, and because I am back into it again because it is back on tv with the series that follows the manga. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, if your wondering what its called.
I like the characters the story, the depth and everything. Not to mention the english voices kicked ass.

Favorite movie....I don't have one of those either

Anime: 3-way tie between Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo and Black Lagoon...
TV Show: The West Wing
Movie: 3-way tie between The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Saving Private Ryan and There Will Be Blood...

Oh, and two ton tom I second that the opening theme for trigun is amazing... makes me sad that everyone uses j-[bastardized genre] all the time now... The Japanese seem to take many ideas in many forms of media and up the "epicness" to incredibly over-the-top ridiculous levels...

Anime ===> Gunslinger Girl. Season 1 was just perfect, I haven't finished season 2 yet but it seems as awesome as the first one.

Tv Shoe ===> Lost is my favourite tv show, but the best I've seen is Buffy. At first I didn't think it was possible, I've always thought it was a bad attempt to a horror/teen show, but then I read some reviews and that were saying it was the best show ever made, so I gave it another try, and I watched it from season 1. What can I say, they were right!

Movie ===> Probablu A.I., but I don't really have a favourite movie.

My favorite is Afro Samurai. It originated as a 5 part tv series but is more of a movie. I like it best 'cause its got a nice blend of east and west culture. And any character played Samuel Jackson is kickass!

TV Show: the Mentalist, obviously

Anime: >deliberates for half an hour< Pandora Hearts, Bakemonogatari & Bleach

Movie: my mind instantly leaps to The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but I haven't watched it for years. Ho hum... I'll settle for The Devil's Advocate. (edit) No. Stuff that, thinking on it, Constantine is definitely my favourite film.

Oh man. I don't even remember why I watched that show, I generally don't care for anime and this sounded like something I would absolutely hate, but it was great.

Second season was not near as high quality as the first though, especially in terms of animation. It started off on the wrong foot and I almost didn't bother watching it after a few episodes, but it really picked up and the last episode was great.

Doesn't beat out Cowboy Bebop though, still my favorite. Those two and Trigun are really the only animes I like. I used to like quite a few others, but after seeing them again recently, I feel like I've "outgrown" them or something. Just can't get into most anime anymore. I do want to see Samurai Champloo though, since it's from the same director as Cowboy Bebop. I'll get around to it eventually.

Don't really have a favorite TV show, I haven't really sat and watched TV in years. As for movies, they are too long for my liking. I can't sit and watch an hour+ movie. ADD gets to me I guess. Last movie I watched was Dark Knight, and I have no idea before that aside from the Cowboy Bebop movie. The former was alright, the latter was disappointing compared to the series.

My favorite TV show would definitely be Showtime's Dexter. While each season only runs for 13 episodes a piece, each is packed with a lot of story (each episode is also 10 minutes longer than standard television) and Michael C. Hall is fun to watch.
