What after FFXIII? (FFXIV on SE party 2009 rumor included!!)

While FFXIII is still in development, I'm already looking forward to FFXIV.
So, What do you think and want about FFXIV?? A male main character? A fantasy story like FFX, turn based combat, mmorpg??

Does anyone know if they start developing FFXIV after 13 is finished, or has the pre-development (planning,...) already begun/began?


And another big question:
What will happen to this site?
Are you going to show content for FFXIII even after FFXIII is worldwidely released or are you just going to shut it down?
Are you going to host a new website as great as this one about FFXIV?
Are you going to include FFXIV and post news on this site???

This site is so great for news and forum, so please don't shut it down in the future^_^

Square Enix working with Final Fantasy IV already is no surprise. They are planning plot, characters, setting etc. Those are the concept artists. But there will be no announcement and absolutely no video shown at SE Party 2009.

Wich means they are not in a hurry to announce Final Fantasy IV this year.

There are more than 5 square teams and two Enix teams I know of.

I would think that they have started working on FFXIV and it may be possible that they will anounce that they have another FFXIV title in develepement.. they did anounce XIII five years ago so why not XIV? but they wont be showing anything of it until Versus is out and the whole FNC is completed because that would be just bad for Versus

I think that even if they would anounce XIV or even say something "revealing" the develepoment of XIV I think they would rather expand the whole FNC universe if FFXIII and Versus would have major sells... and then they would push XIV even further away but still saying it was "on the way"

By surface I mean the following;
- Trailers depicting various landscapes and locales
- Trailers depicting various combats (boss/enemy related)
- JP site being updated various times throughout the course of this year

But all in all. What I think of the members of GameFAQs; full of failure. In their various spam related threads. In normal boards like these, if they were to make those kind of topics like these. They'd get their **** whupped by the board staff members (mods and admin) and perhaps a ban as well.

The TC from GF is the same one that recently post an article from a Dengeki PS3 regarding FFXIII battle system, which LOOKS to be true.

I'm starting to forget the games anyway, its like sometimes the games surface and then square pulls em right down under and you don't hear a thing for months about them (FNC) And when they do show something it makes no fucking sense XD. I was a naive little 14 year old when I found out about FNC, and I was still high off of playing Kingdom Hearts 2, which I thought was so amazing back then. The first trailers that took place on E3, May 6th 2008 are getting a little fuzzy...
