FFXII European Release Countdown!

ONLY ANOTHER 15 DAYS NOW UNTIL FINAL FANTASY XII IS RELEASED IN EUROPE!!!! I'm MEGA excited, I just wish that I didn't have to go to this University Open Day thing or I would have played on it allllllllll day and night lol. Ah well I will only be a day behind, but I am definetly buying it the day it comes out haha.

Having waited for 5 years I am sure that another 24 hours wont kill me.............................:blink: or maybe it will................. bring on the FINAL FANTASY!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here, I got almost everything else (dualshock, memory card, cabels) but I cant find my PS2. The box, Its gone!!

How do you lose a ps2 lol. I am clever and saved mine until FFXII and Tomb Raider Anniversary are out so that I can play them. And then when the ps3 drops in price before the release of FFXIII then I will buy a ps3 then.

Well all I can say is it is not what I expected, its good and beautiful and everything but it just isn't what I expected. I'm 8 hours worth of gameplay into it... so I'm clearly giving it another chance. I cant believe I'm actually saying this lol. I bet it will get really good later on.

I'm hating Ashe for some reason right now. Loving Penelo and Balthier but feeling no sympathy what so ever for Vaan. Fran is just simply exquisite. lol

Lol. I felt the same. The beginning is shit, no question. It does get better, but there was something missing that makes it less addictive than the other Final Fantasy's.

I hate Ashe too xD My favorites are Fran and Basch. Oh, and of course Balthier :P

Having actually reached the 9 hour mark now, i can say it does get better... I really want PENELO back though. She's my definite favourite character, and I am really beginning to warm to the rest of the characters. I'm loving quickenings and overall the story is getting much better too. I agree the beginning could have been much more improved, but Square Enix have really gone all out on the settings and towns so it really makes up for what the game lacks in other areas.

But enough said, I really actually do like it. Right am off to continue playing...

lol Hell yeah it is. I hate the fact my LIFE is getting in the way of playing the game though. lol << How sad. But ah well. I've just got into the Tomb Of Rainsynth or something like that... its amazing how they show you all the places have such detail. I'm still not a major fan of the battle system.... YET but it is growing on me lol. Theres something missing though at the minute but i cant quite put my finger on it... i think its the summons or something like that........... but as yet i'm not sure.

I just got Final Fantasy XII on Sunday (UK PAL version) and I've been really enjoying it. I like the fact that it has a distinct feel all of it's own and it's not simply a re-hash of the previous games. The new battle system is great and I find the characters are all likeable and interesting.

I had been waiting to play the game for something like 6 years and I'm glad to say I haven't been disappointed!

And at last, Square Enix gave a Final Fantasy game a decent PAL conversion! It's also nice that in the UK version they changed certain words to the British spellings, so it's 'armour' instead of 'armor' or 'licence' instead of 'license'. A minor point really, but I appreciate that kind of effort.:)

I agree completely. Balthier has to be one of the best acted characters of any game I've ever seen, and I love the fact that he's a good guy - usually it's only the bad guys that have British accents.

Nah, i found belias to be really easy... bring on the quickenings... lol... at the minute I am finding leveling up a breeze because of my incompetent LP gain and the fact that I knew sod all about the system and then realised oh yeah.... i need to use the points ... doy! lol So i used everyone on Warhammer... got their attack points up to 71... attacked away and got to level 40 in 2 hours haha. And I'm only just up to going to Archades.. not even left Omur Balace or whatever its called.

I was powerful enough to beat elder dragon but the hidden esper in the stilshrine of mirium, i think his name was valerus or something... he's way to hard.. i'm screwed at getting the other 11 espers lol.
