Everything they do is in private now a days, then months later they reluctantly let that bit of news or video slip. It's like standing outside of the mens toilets because the reject inside has collapsed thanks to overdosing on every kind of drug the "friendly" bald guy at the bar could sell him(digressing), then after a good few hours he comes out and goes "OH YEAH, THE BALD GUY AT THE BAR IS SELLING SOME FINE DRUGS".

I feel this comparison has more to do about nights out than Square-Enix, but somewhere in there I had a point.

They have been doing a lot of things private for quite some time now. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I suspect they'll reveal the release date, at least for Japan, and the stuff that's not public will likely be Versus and/or Agito related.

After a playable demo, there's not really a whole lot they can do to continue to hype a game. Trailers or details just don't beat a demo. A solid release date, on the other hand, would catch people's interest. And there's really no reason for SquareEnix to focus on Agito/Versus instead (publically at least) since FFXIII is the game they need to ensure has hype, since it's being released first.

the room is for one thing and one thing only Press and PR for them nothing for the public. You won't see anything from E3 unless they want it released. E3 is just to expensive for companies to be there now, it really isn't what it used to be two years ago. I doubt anything will leak from there either but hey here's hoping!

E3 is press-only, so it'll be a little bit different to the CMT. If Square Enix are trying something like the CMT, they've forgotten that the American media are notorious for leaking press-only shit.
