the war between Xbox360 and PS3 will never end --> until the PS4 lol... but i have a general question

how pissed off would you be if FFXIII were to have better graphics and faster load times on the Xbox360 vs the PS3?
scale 1-10---> 1 being dont give a damn and 10 being going to blow shit up

i bring this up because DMC4 had better graphics on xbox360 even though the DMC series was strictly PS series, another game was GTA4 had better graphics as well... im sure almost all games that were made PS3 AND Xbox360... xbox360 had it better dispite the blueray of the ps3...

so ppl of the gaming world how pissed would you be? as for me i would be a fucking 12!!!! :nag:

If development of the 360 version doesn't even begin until the PS3 version is released, that's impossible. Unless they intentionally downgrade the PS3 build. I almost thought this thread may have been worthwhile.

If it were just better graphics or load times I wouldn't care at all. If there were noticeable technical issues in the PS3 version that don't appear in the 360 version, I'd be a bit irked though, more because of their existence than the fact the 360 version is slightly better.

I doubt either version will be technically superior to the other though, unless the port team decides to intentionally make a few sacrifices to make porting faster and easier.

Imagine the poetic justice of a 'role reversal' for the highest profile game port we're likely to see this generation.

Personally, I would love to see the 360 get a botched port with atrocious frame-rate and pervasive bugs (with 'hardware issues' cited as the reason).

DMC 4 HAD the SAME GRAPHICS in the 2 consoles... god this is stupid, only fanboys said that they versión of dmc looked better for xbox or ps3.

On topic, i dont care because its not gonna happen a port never looks better than the original version, and this is the case, FF XIII is being developed for ps3 then ported to 360.

First of all, I find this funny coming from "Lord Noctis."

I'm curious about your reasoning behind that though. While I expect minimal differences between the two games due to SquareEnix striving for the highest quality possible on both platforms, the PS3 version does have the advantage of being the initial development platform - an advantage the 360 usually has. If I were a betting man and had to put money on one platform having an edge over the other, I'd put my money on the PS3. (luckily I'm not a betting man and I think the two versions will be about the same aside from the number of discs).

Apart from being extremely amused, I wouldn't care. So far I don't own the PS3, all I own is the Xbox360.

But I can understand how you would be like really really mad that the game would be better on another console, it would like totally be peeing all over your faith and loyalty towards a small computer.
