Red Head, Googles and asian names revealed

Three characters recently seen in the newest Final Fantasy XIII have had their names revealed. All are also playable in the forthcoming FFXIII demo as well.

The three characters--Rebro, the woman; Gabou, the red head; and Marquis, the blond one with goggles--are also confirmed to be playable in the demo. Following are images each of the characters with their newly revealed names.

All three characters are also supposedly part of "Team Nora" which Snow Villiers leads.

I like Gadou and Rebro. They're pretty unique names, and they sound cool. Marquis, well, I'm not so sure. But I have to agree that Team Nora is probably from "Nomura". How else would that sissy name become the title of a feirce resistance group!? (Sorry if I offended any Noras out there).

Lol, Marquis. Reminds me of FFXII. xD The other names I'm pretty much fine with but Team Nora seems a little sissy unless that's just their squad's codename. Similar to Alpha, Beta, Gamma, etc, of the Greek alphabet.

It's written マーキー so it could be Marquis, Marquee or Marky (to name a few). We'll have to wait on the official translation which will presumably accompany any scans that get leaked.

No no, the names are just making it worse... since they pushed back the release date, introduced the redheadguy and yes, now even starting to give shitty names!

There are more aspects which make me doubt that this game will satisfy me!

It's quite possibly legit.

I can't think of any "Marquis/Marky/anything that could be mistaken for such a name" that's been released so far, so unless somebody is outright lying or extremely mistaken, /something/ new has probably been released at the very least.

V-Jump site (via Blank) is telling us that there will be new character intros and 'awesome' pics from the demo in the next issue (out officially on Saturday 21st).

Nice to here I can't wait until Saturday, I've been thirsty for quite a while since the trailer came out, I think we all are. I especially like the name Marquis, although a name similar to that is still find with me.

Let's see... if Nora is an acronym for something... Newly Ordered Raisins and Artichokes? (no idea where I got that from). I can't think of anything it could be, other than completely ridiculous things.

Edit: It's possible that the names were only given in their Japanese, and their official English isn't out yet. Actually, since ff-xiii had to get it translated by somebody else, I think we're probably still deep in fantranslation territory, regardless of what's on the scans. If they had the name in English, they wouldn't need a translator, right?

So hold your hate until we get pics of the names in English plz. :aldo:

Edit Edit: Even if we don't have the English, that doesn't change the assignment of names, though, so the Gadou-type name is prolly red haired dude's and the Rebro-type name is prolly Asian girl's.
