^ Why?
I'm still not used to seeing young kids' games next to Final Final Fantasy. Apparently they're starting a line/brand called Pure Dreams?

I'm aware that they put out some random stuff before like All Star Pro-Wrestling III (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Star_Pro-Wrestling_III) and Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (http://marioslambasketball.nintendo.co.uk/enGB/), but does it seem like they're publishing more random stuff than usual to anybody else?

yeah, I've been noticing that too. It's just wtf all over the place. The new Space Invaders game, where you play as the aliens? Just one of the random games.
It's all a money grab, imo. Appeal to the younger market and you can rake in tonnes of cash.

I imagine that has something to do with Taito, and I know the new pet shop game does too.
I would have thought that SE's more mature star power would make it more profitable for them to sell something less..... generic.... but maybe not...

Nope. It just came in my emailbox today.
And the least they could have done was put in a Chocobo. Japanese people sure seem to like penguins.

I don't like penguins... Too calm for me. Anyways, I guess that besides gathering some money, maybe SE wants to get younger fans so when they grow up they'll their more advanced stuff (You know what I mean) And hell, there are going to be lots of awsome rpg titles on the DS ( CT remake, VP...), so why coulnd't they just go different for once?

Most companies make shitty Wii/DS games to turn some more profit. Ubisoft used to be a great company, and now they're making more shitty animal pet DS games than ever.

SE doesn't give a damn about gamers. Only about $$$$$

Oh yeah! I got an email about this game after registering on the FFXIII UK website. Came out of nowhere. Pretty random considering I never got an update about FFXII itself...

True, but it's shit games like this that generate money for them, so they can keep doing their Final Fantasies.
