Wow I just placed it on my PS3. I's the best quality!! It hasn't that small noise like the other trailers. And it feels like it's rendered by Ps3 and that you are playing it. It's so claer in 1080i. Please post this on the main page

I noticed a bit of slow down and stuff on the video too, but its still amazing what thier doing. What square doing is really amazing though, so just think how the game is doing now if this is a older build!

Still needs alot of polish obviously. Some things i dont find surprising (NPC low poly models) but the sketchy battle animations and framerate are not to be expected by the time the game nears release.

Then copy the trailer downloaded from the link and put it onto a USB, then connect the USB into your PS3 and thus copy it onto the PS3 from the USB. Done.

Could we try and remember that this game isn't due for release until the end of this year? The only reason they're showing all this in the trailer is because it will be in the demo, so they probably just worked their ass off to get this part working to a decent degree so they can release it as a demo. Then they'll go back and touch it up and make everything smoother and more detailed. They've got plenty of time to do so.

The 1080p trailer I downloaded onto my computer does look gorgeous, but it's a little bit jumpy =/

Edit: Also, the reason the battles look slightly boring right now is because this part of the game is probably the very first sequence of the entire game, so they're not going to have very many spells or abilities, and the ones they do have will be the weakest and least flashy.

After some reflection time, I bet you the opposite. The Japanese crowd can be nitpicky to that kind of details. They like eye-candy stuff (no wonder there are so many androgynous heroes coming from there) and I'm sure they'll be vocal about FF XIII's less than stellar real time visuals.

Couple their complains with those from the rest of the world, and S-E will most likely do something to please us.

In all objectivity though, what we see right there might be from a pre-polish version of the game, where the fine tuning stage hasn't even started.

They did state that this trailer was the first of many to come, and that they were going to listen to what people had to say, so I'm sure we'll see a progression in the next few trailers.



As a side note, this trailer will most likely trigger an interview sequence with the producers. And I can't wait to see what they have to say about the game's progress and the gameplay details they'll give us.

I'm pretty skeptical weather they'll fix the models or not... I'm guessing if the trailers been upscaled then they look worse then they should but if they are that bad... well I dunno I'd want em to fix em a bit... but I guess its pretty fast paced and I won't notice it too much but then theres the field models which are prolly the same models used in battles... that would be a problem...

What bothers me the most is Lightnings unnecessary acrobatics... sure they're cool but she hits an enemy then jumps back and throws a fireball and then flips back at one point... whats the point in that, seeing as she was already away from the enemy... she gets really far from the enemy at times... then theres the moves that don't connect but do damage...
