FFVI remake for PSP or DS

well i would really like to see FFVI become a remake for the PSP since i own one but the DS has been given FFIII and FFIV. So if SE decided to remake FFVI what system would you like it to b on?

I'm expecting the 3-D remakes to continue on the DS up until FF6. Then the first Sony FF- #7 to be released on the PSP. As far as what I'd want... FF 1-6 with upscaled grafx on a single UMD as well as FF7-9 on PSP. 10 and 12 on PSP2.

Well, considering that SE remade FF III and IV for the DS, I'm sure they might consider remaking FF VI.

Should FF VI be remade, I'm hoping that it's remade on the Nintendo DS.

If you check those FF remakes for psp, you'll see they are not really good. They are exactly the same with 2D graphics. BUT I believe everyone would love to see Dumb Clown (Kefka for idiots) on 3D so I'll say for DS, unless they will remake it 3D for psp

I'd rather have a PSP version but I'm afraid a DS version is much more likely, considering SE's past ports. I do own the PS1 version but I think I'd prefer the game on PSP.

If they do a proper 3D remake (and I can't think why they wouldn't after III and IV) I'd want it on the PSP. I don't own one (yet) but best PSP graphics > best DS graphics.

The way I see it; FFVI with next-gen graphics would be out of this world so PS3 or 360 would be the best, FFVI with decent graphics would still be fucking stunning so PS2 or PSP would be my next choice, FFVI remade to be virtually identicle apart from everything technically being 3D even though 95% of the time it may as well be 2D anyway would still be a damned fun game so DS is next on the list. Needlessly tacked on waggle would probably make the game less enjoyable so I would rather it didn't get remade for the Wii at all.

To summarise; PS3 > 360 > PS2 > PSP > DS > Wii.

...why I didn't just type that in the first place I dunno but there you go.

I'm sort of hoping for a Wii/PSP remake to be honest...

I think that if a FF6 remake came out It should be on a Nintendo system, it's sort of like how a FF7 remake should be on a Sony system.

it would be frickin awesome on the psp and if they did ports of all the game until X for it i would have alot of psp games in the future but i think the ps1 7-9 games should be redone with enhanced graphics and everything for the ps3 but not for the 360 cuz it just wouldnt feel right and they were origanaly ps only so it should stay that way

Eh, I don't like either option. I don't have a PSP and don't intend to buy one, so that's pretty much out of the question for me. And I don't think the DS would do the game justice. I'd probably buy it for DS anyway though.

I'd like to see it on PS3, or even the Wii without mandatory motion controls (classic/sideways remote/GCN controllers should be options). My brother has a 360 and I could play it on that, but it would be nice if it were on a console I own, preferably the PS3.

i'm more leen for a ff6 port for psp.. but considering the gba advance was so much uber it had tons of xtra is it possible to add the same exact content to a psp umd. . . 1.8gb? i say port it to wii or if the contract doens't affect it port it to ps3. . . .

I would like it to be on ps3/xbox360 but um sure that will never happen.
Probably for nds , but i beleive we ll get V for ds first and VI for next nintendo handled console.
Cant imagine ffvi´s old gameplay in good-looking 3D.

I was just thinking of playing Final Fantasy VI again! I would probably play the GBA import emulation translated to English. Need all the adult humor nudity and such.

The problem with all of that is they wouldn't leave the game as is they really would have to do a huge remake which would take time. I just miss Yoshitaka Amano's style art work!

So would I. It would be brilliant if all the music was ochestrated like in the FFVI Grand Finale album. That's the main reason why I'd like to see it on the PS3.

For PSP. I'm playing FFVII again on the PSP and it's perfect to play, FFVI would be awesome on it. Though, FFIV on DS was pretty good despite the bullshit graphics.
