Thats where the parents being killed thing came in, although now that I think about it, if she is older than storm, than HE could not have killed her parents, but maybe someone else in the ruler line before him?

Not as much, because it be a completely new problem, and I would really love to see a kid (as in under 17) fight. It gets even better when I link it with the previous heroine theory, of her being connected to the crystal. That puts quite a burden on her.

Who knows, a kid may end up being the most powerful character, if child were the heroine, and could manipulate the power of the crystal, then how awesome would that be? And because she's a child, fighting will have a completely different effect on the character. We all keeping saying how we don't want cliche's but always have character within a certain age range (17+) is just as cliche.

At first I was fighting it, but the more I think, it seems to be that Desi had something in saying that he was 16, I think that would work for him. The more I try to invision him with different facial expressions the more it becomes apparent he's younger than many of just thought.

Ok buddy, I vanished for a while but I'm back. FF series spoilers FFIV Rydia was no older then 10 but something happened in the game and she looks older later on. Reana/Leana was 12 in FFV, Realm in FFVI was probably around 10, Eiko from FFIX was 6(?) not to count Garnet was 16, and I don't know Corenlia's age in FFXI but around 14, Prishe in XI looks 10 (but isn't so she doesn't count), the FFXI S.O.B's (not what you think) are 4-9, and the Chebukki children are 8 or something. All I can come up with. Not to count a lot of other RPG's. Her age doesn't matter or bother me at the moment but I just hope she isn't the key to the universe type with amnesia.

My reason for wanting an important older woman figure is based on what happens in many other rpgs. You would get a older male character (50's-1000's) that back in his day was something else, a lot of times he dies but not always. On the other hand you never get a female character with equal experience or importance in a age range of 30 or older.

I don't think his styles are as skimpy as others, anywho depending on the age of the heroine will likely determine the kind of cloths she's in. Example if she's like 8, she won't be dressed like Fran, or atleast I'd hope not. No, I don't think so, if she's like parallel to Storm, then she will probably of a low class.

And who are the others you are referring too? Nomura falls right behind top down shooter chicks and girl based fighters because no one is as skimpy as those. Ero-games are less skimpy then those. He may be getting some Competition in the current Korean game field though.

I don't hate his female attire but trying to floor on Fran because you find a 14 year old girl in It's A Wonderful World wardobe to be acceptable is a little unbalanced.

Well yes, that goes into my liking of people not being physically strong can still be a major force. But most people don't see that so they only want "Rawr, I am strong bad guy I'll chop you up". I mean look at rulers of countries, they aren't stronger than the average soldier but they have massive power under their command. Hopefully this game will be a lot more physiological, maybe even a game you have to play through several times to understand all the undertones of it. Would be interesting to see our "heroine" actually turn out to be the evil one at the end of the game.

And where do you get this from?

I was saying, people only see evil as someone you can stand his own in a fight.

Cloud's sword probably isn't all that heavy to people in the first place, it's just the art style.
